If you have even a passing interest in cars, definitely try to secure yourself a visit to the Lingenfelter Collection. Everything from well-known sports cars to obscure vehicles from the70s and 80s makes this a great place to visit. The story associated with each vehicle is also worth spending the time reading. Definitely a not-to-be-missed experience if you get the opportunity!

The lakes are clean and clear. A nice place to sunbathe and then cool off with the fish. There are bike trails everywhere but you can also walk or get on your boat. Go give it a try!

The produce is amazing! The farmers are helpful and willing to educate you on all things organic! The farmer's market is on Wednesday from 4-6pm and on Saturday from 9 - noon.

This is a bit hard to find - address is 6893 Grand River Avenue. Entrance is next to a sign with that number on it and the name Dr. Bonine (a dentist). You take a long driveway back into the woods and park in a lot at the end. Bonine's office is on one side of the lot; you can get onto the walk on the other side. It is a loop that goes through the woods. It can be a little hard to follow sometimes due to tractor treads obliterating it, but keep looking for the sculptures and poetry signs. No need to ever walk on the driveway; the walk cuts across it. Anyway as other have implied definitely worth your time. Takes about an hour.

$15 for 45 minutes, or $25 for 3 45 minute sessions. Each session starts at the top of the hour, so be there on time/early. We've done this a couple times this summer and the kids(and adults) have a great time, unfortunately, jump island passes do sell out and if you intend to be there on a weekend, or busier times, call ahead, or check online because they do sell out. The concession/sales office personnel were not very helpful. On one occassion, we were there at 2pm and they told us we could buy a pass for 6pm, and if an earlier opening did occur, we could buy it, but only if we paid for the later pass first, and only if we came back and checked with them. It was not very organized, or efficient, and why would we pay for a 6pm pass first? They really should get more courteous and helpful staff in the sales office.

A beautiful day out skiing. Absolutely fantastic ski instructor Marty. He was very patient with all of us and even took us up the lift after his time was up with us. My only reason I gave a 4 was because there was no where to sit. And Im sure it is because of the covid protocol.
    Can't wait to go back.

Solid selection of beers. I bought a growler and have filled it up a few times already over the last couple months. They have a moderate variety of food, and allow you to bring your own food from outside restaurants. Outside patio is awesome, check out their open mic night as well. We will definitely be back.

Outdoor setting on the grounds of Holy Spirit Catholic Church. You can park and get out to walk around and look at the various items, read some signs, and then sit with Jesus on seats made of polished concrete, stone and glass. It is a life size bronze metal sculpture of Jesus at a table surrounded by 12 empty seats. A nice, serene, scenic place to relax or stretch the legs or take a short walk. Trees all around provide shade. There is a playground in the distance. A small cemetery as well.

Huntmore is a very good/nice public golf course and well worth the play. Course was in great condition from tee to green and the greens were rolling quickly, though not overly. Pick the tees you want to play in line with the difficulty that matches your game.

Not sure where the bad reviews on the course itself, staff and/or venue come from. My experience over the years is quite different. Maybe I missed a down year or two.

The ONLY thing I will say negative about the experience here relates to the cart GPS. No, not yardages. It's the damn annoyance and distraction of CONSTANT warnings that "you are 1 minute behind" or incessant beeping that comes if someone looks for a ball.

I am all for pace of play. NOBODY wants the misery of slow play. But when you are standing on the tee of a par 3 hole, the group in front of you is on the green and the GPS is still showing "you are 1 minute behind" I have to ask. WTH is a golfer supposed to do, hit into the group in front of us?

At another point we were one of three foursomes on the same hole. Yeah, GPS still telling us we are behind. Again, WTH are we supposed to do?

You can't be serious. Please fix that! That is a software issue that needs to be corrected. Seriously, that is NOT an enjoyable feature. Quite the opposite. And, I dare say, if I experience it again, it will be the last time we play an otherwise very fine golf course and facility.
