    Watch how handcrafted textiles are made!
    After a very warm welcome you watch and learn about the tools and techniques to produce those wonderful handcrafted cotton textiles that now decorate our house. We are specially in love with the xxl blanket for the whole family and the little bags that help us to keep an order in our bigger bags.

    Small but good selection of books, multiple languages
    Bujo is a nice store with tasteful, artsy shirts and other tourist/gift items in addition to their small but thoughtful selection of books, both fiction and non-fiction, in a number of languages. I was feeling desperate for some English language fiction but bought only two books due to price - I paid $16 for two quite-used paperbacks. On my walk back toward the central park, I bought an English language paperback from a street vendor for just 70 cordobas (a little over $2 US). Bujo accepts both US dollars and cordobas.

    A necessary stop before leaving the city
    As a longtime resident of Leon, it is great to have places where I can bring visitors to Leon. It is also the perfect place to buy gifts that are reminiscent of the Nicaragua's rich cultural and gastronomic history: souvenirs, coffee, chocolate, cigars, rum...

    Great little surf clothing store
    Great clothing store with a good service. They have cool prints on the shirts and the swimming shorts seem good quality. They use local surplus fabric for the clothes which they make themselves, so by shopping here you support locals in a ecological fashion.

    Definitely take the factory tour.

    Cool jewelry
    I stopped by both locations in Leon. I got two bracelets at one location and two necklaces at the location on the side of the cathedral. It’s a little pricey but I didn’t see jewelry like it elsewhere.
