    More than just the boarding! A great way to start the day.
    A really memorable experience. Even the drive out to the site feels something like a safari tour which is a cool experience. The volcano itself and surrounding scenery are awesome, so we really enjoyed the hike up. It does get quite windy up there so don’t be ashamed to hand over your board to a porter if you don’t want to battle the wind. And the ride down was great fun. Easy to control your speed so it’s all up to you how hard you go. Our guide was great, super friendly and knowledgeable and more than willing to help make it enjoyable.

    It was an amazing tour with knowledgeable Mr. Wilfredo who explained everything about the old and new Leon, it’s history and presented the best of this beautiful city.

    Great tour with Nicaragua Tours Team
    We were a party of five and none of us had been to Nicaragua before. We got off our cruise ship in February 2020 and decided to do a private tour with Nicaragua Tours Team. Another couple from Switzerland joined our group and we set off on our tour. What a great experience. The driver spoke little or no English but our tour guide was very fluent and knowledgeable. We left it all in his hands as to where to take us and what he thought we needed to see. We had a very enjoyable day, leisurely and saw the highlights of Nicaragua. It was easy to pick this tour up just off the ship and we were more than satisfied. Excellent service all around.

    Must Do!!!
    My first day in Nicaragua and this tour was amazing! I learned about the local fruit and cuisine that tourists typically wouldn't know what to look for. Johanna was incredible and as a solo traveller I loved the experience!

    Volcano Boarding
    Franklin and our driver were absolutely amazing! Not only did they pick us up, but as we drove to the volcano Franklin shared some history of Leon with us. At the volcano the locals were tasked with carrying out boards so we could immerse ourselves fully in the hiking experience. The hike up was moderate with spectacular views. The ride down was so fun as we were provided outfits to protect our skin from the sand. Franklin took a bunch of videos and pictures to capture our experience forever and built a short movie with it.

    After we descended the volcano we were treated with local beer and fruit before returning safely to our accommodations.

    What a wicked experience. 10/10 recommend!!

    Worth it!!
    I had such an amazing time!! Still speechless...the hike was beautiful and not too exhausting, seeing the sunset and the sunrise from the top of the vulcano the next morning was even more impressive. Our Guides Sam & Norlan were very nice and so well prepared - especially the food was a 10/10 for a Camping trip!Thanks for the nice experience, definitely not my last time camping on a vulcano! :-)

    Very friendly and professional company
    Great company which provides professional local guides with adequate equipment, unlike some other operators. Memo is very responsive and friendly, booking is very easy. The guide Henry was very knowledgeable about the trail, local animals and other things in Nicaragua. Highly recommend :)

    Nicaragua more than expected
    Very experienced trip planner, safe drivers, and knowledgeable guides. We had experienced more than what we expected. They made our visit to this small country a rich experience beyond our expectations.

    I used Roneey's shuttle service to get from Leon in Nicaragua to Antigua, Guatemala via El Tunco in EL Salvador! It was all very easy and I highly recommend them. The staff in the office in Leon were also really helpful. I highly recommend staying in el tunco on the way to break up the journey.

    Safe adventure
    Very reliable ground staff, safe vehicle, experienced guide. Our trip planner was very responsive whenever we needed her to any questions that popped up in our 2-week journey in Nicaragua. Great services in all aspects.

    Great/Dependable Tour Operator
    We had a great trip with Frank, hiking the volcano then sand boarding down.
    Our group was a mix of c.30yrs - 87yrs and Frank and his team were awesome, helpful and very accomodating. On top of that, Frank is great with his own camera and more than willing to send photos across, without any additional payment.
    Couldn’t recommend it enough.
