We enjoyed our visit. The period pieces were fascinating. The lady on duty gave an excellent talk, and and she was quite helpful in answering questions about the area.
    Don't miss this stop.

This is a very good place to visit and learn the history of the south take time to wonder around and read some of the markers on the graves.

The Columbus Arts council and RAC is a great venue. STop in and participate and view visual and performing arts. The arts council has a great board and staff and always has some unique program. Bluegrass, storytelling, painting decorations and demonstrations and exhibits not to mention wonderful children programs and learning experiences.

Our cabin was awesome. Nice and quiet. The park was very nice and clean. Everything was furnished except our food. We enjoyed our visit very much!

Riverview has a new owner and it is still being renovated so it was not open to tourists. We did stop and take photos of this antebellum home.

Great place to go have a picnic, play frisbee or teach your kids how to ride a bike. Educational to look at the lock and dam and see the water flow and different levels.

Wow, what a spectacular house! This is a magnificent antebellum house in Italianate style, quite unusual in this part of the country. The homeowners live in this house and have done a beautiful restoration job. They also have an extensive collection of "Belter" furniture; One of the best in the country. They have a beautiful outdoor area and reception area as well. Well worth a visit or rental.

My children, 7 and 12 years old, very much enjoyed the playground. I also had fun playing with them on it. The wooden playground reminded me of my youth, before everything became plastic for safety and upkeep...LOL! You will need to bring bug spray depending on the time of year which you choose to visit! As our visit was months ago, I am not sure if there were restrooms available.

Had a blast in the Rage Room! Kids loved the Blacklight Painting! The staff was very courteous and helpful. The Rage Room and Paint Rooms had ways to Bluetooth your Playlist or tell Alexa to play a song.

This was another place we looked up to go see and according to even the tourist guide it was supposed to be open and it was closed. So disappointed with all these areas they advertised to go see.

Friday night my parents, my hubby and our kids (ages 16 and 5) went to see the Super Late Model Feature. We had a blast! I love the announcer and his enthusiasm. I love that they play the National Anthem and pray before the races begin. We had nachos, a burger, and snow cones from the concession stand. The concession stand line was fast. All of the food was good although the ratio of chips varied greatly with each batch of nachos we ordered. There weren't many bugs around. The ladies bathroom was clean the two times we went in there. The drivers made things interesting and definitely have more courage than I do!

In case you are a first time visitor:
    - you can bring lawn chairs to sit on
    - the cars are of course loud if you want to bring something for your ears
    - the dirt will fly if you need glasses
    - you can bring a cooler smaller than 14" and snacks in with you
    - kids 5 and under are free at some races
    - they take a card at the window for payment but the concession stand is cash only

We had blast and will go back!
