Top-notch destination. It is just as the pictures show. Situated in a very nice park with restrooms and trails. There is a neat bridge over the cool spring creek.

Beautiful scenery, short hike, leaves turning and deer out grazing in grass. Great signage easy to find!

We were staying near Eminence Mo and knew the Ozark National Scenic Waterways had more to offer. There are several areas of interest near Devil's Well including Welch Spring, which we also stopped at. The road was fine to get down and there were already several people there with a parking area and bathroom. There are a few flights of steps down to the well until you reach the bottom platform of the sinkhole. A light turns on where you can look down into the sinkhole and see a large underground lake. It felt cool down there and water was dripping all around with moss. The steps back up aren't overly strenuous. Great find!

This was spectacular!!! Our guide was informative and very patient with any questions. The cave was cool and lived when we turned off our lanterns and experienced the extreme darkness and quiet! Highly recommend!

Spring has an average flow of 20 million gallons of water a day, and creates a large, beautiful blue-green pool and a stream that runs into the Current River. There is an access point in the park for floating and rafting. There is also a cave, but it wasn't open when I visited in December.

Scheduled a last-minute trip to the area to go floating on the Current and came across this place to stay! So peaceful and secluded, the cabins are clean and have everything you need! We got in late, and Cathy had the light on and everything we needed to find the cabin easily. Zach the Jack Russell terrier gave us a warm welcome and hung around our cabin the entire weekend, we loved it! Loved eating breakfast and drinking my coffee on the front porch each morning. There were some stalls behind our cabin, and one horse. Will definitely be back!

We used Windy's in 2022 and 2023 for our float trips on the Current River. We had them ferry us and our gear up to Akers Ferry for a nice 3 day float back to their location. They were very helpful and accommodating each year. In 2022, we had to wait a day to put in because of thunderstorms, so we just did our same 3 day float a day later, no problem.

I have enjoyed these sorts of multi-day trips on the Current going back to the 80s. I don't remember so much wildlife back then. I really cannot recommend floating the Current highly enough. Absolute beginner canoeists will get a workout, but should still be able to manage as long as someone in the group has some experience.

The primitive camping is great, but very basic. No tables or fire rings, really just a gravel campsite. The gravel rocks are are maybe 2 inches or so. Have lots of stakes if you need any because the gravel doesn't hold them well. Sandals of any type aren't going to work well for you. Not even those nice Tevas that are otherwise great for water sports.

Windy's has a beautiful location for canoeing and have helped make two absolutely beautiful trips a success.
