- Scott YatesFarmington, MO21 contributionsMy first experience with them was for a private party, the staff was very inviting and the meal that was served was excellent. They encouraged guests to take home a lot of extra food that was left. A few months later was there for a social function in their outdoor area. Went there to listen to the live band. The staff was again friendly and then weather started turning little rainy and cooler. They quickly closed the glass doors down as needed to make everyone comfortable.Written 8 October 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - drbroundtheworldSaint Louis, MO400 contributionsLocated about 15 min east of Farmington. Great country location with a large pergola covered veranda and a covered porch. Due to Covid -ordering and drinking is outside and no tastings offered. However, the owner saw that we were struggling w/ wine choices, so he brought out a taste of their dry traminette. Divine - dry and fruity! The owners served the guests and were very friendly and informative about their wines. They have a large selection of wines and beer and offer a few of their own brews. The owner bakes deserts for sale and the pumpkin pecan gooey butter cake was to die for! The family's golden lab, Mikey, loves everyone and makes the rounds for belly rubs. A great country band was playing for everyone's enjoyment on a Saturday afternoon. They make/sell pizzas but you are also allowed to bring in your own food. The bathrooms were clean and well maintained. Well worth a visit for an afternoon or early evening when in the area (and the sunsets are spectacular!)Written 2 November 2020This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Brian Y1 contributionGreat view yet the tower entrance is blocked with wooden planks so I didn’t go up there but is there a reason that the tower is closed offWritten 30 December 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - lavella98Camdenton, MO165 contributionsThere aren't a lot of store at Maple Valley Mall, but it's better than nothing at all. I do like the JcPenney and Glicks the best. Farmington has started to get more stores and I hope that they will continue.Written 13 August 2016This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - jgambon GSpringfield, MO16 contributionsFirst of all, the course is fantastic and I've enjoyed playing it when I'm in Farmington but was surprised the last time (late November, 2018) when the course was closed. I was told that the course will not open during inclement weather such as the cold.
There was no frost on the ground and the temperature was in the 40's. Where I'm from, that's still golfing weather especially if the sun is shining.
Overall, a nice course but call ahead to make sure they are open.Written 12 December 2018This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. My grand-daughter who is 7 loved that she could choose 3 pieces of special candy and then we were able to sit outside the shop and savor the moment along with the candy.Written 20 March 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - TravelTimeFarmington, MO229 contributionsI have been in the shop a few times. The staff is very welcoming, they have a nice selection of clothing, gifts and jewelry all reasonably priced. The shop caught my eye when they placed a coat rack outside the shop during cold weather, offering people a place to leave or take a coat! That ranks pretty high in my book.Written 2 April 2018This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
