What travellers are saying
- Sunapee17Newport, NH444 contributionsAll beaches are great, but Hampton is very easy to walk on in either low or high tide!! Close to amenities. Next year we'll be sure to check out the sand sculptures!Written 10 November 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Chris R1 contributionFantastic spot to stop for any group size(families, couples, solo). The staff was fantastic and very friendly. Stop in and see some of the rare creatures they have and enjoy the touch tanks! Loved every second of it.Written 1 September 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- MicAngMolStaunton, VA141 contributionsOn our road trip from Rhode Island to Maine, we decided to stop at Smuttynose for lunch and tastings. It did not disappoint! While waiting to be seated on the outside patio at the restaurant , we went over to the brewery and tried some samples of beers and sours. We chose the lager and key lime pie sour, which we really enjoyed. Lunch was delicious! Had the Truffalo Mac and Cheese with fried chicken and pretzel bites. Large portions. Both were delicious. Loved the patio area, especially the old travel trailer that’s now a bar. Service was very attentive. Recommend.Written 28 August 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- ChefnflyRussell Springs, KY390 contributionsThe tuck museum is a delightful way to spend an hour or so and learn some local history. It is a guided to and our guide was well informed and it was a pleasure to have her show us around and give us the insight about whoTuck was and the community he established. Leaving a free will donation will come easy after your tour. - Mary D5 contributionsHampton Beach is just beautiful! North Beach is less busy than South of each; each is just beautiful, a great place to spend a Summer's day. The views are intoxicating. I will also add that Hampton Beach is remarkably clean; there is no trash on the ground, it is very well-kept, maintained; it is a great place to visit! Recommended is that you arrive early as parking can be challenging weekends especially.Written 4 September 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Linda D1 contributionMy niece and nephew and my grand-niece and grand-nephew, ages 5 and 7, came to visit the Discovery Center and were enthralled by the interactive exhibits. Instead of hearing constant "don't touch" warnings, they were invited to handle many of the exhibits. They were very attentive to the information provided by the staff who took pains to patiently explain all aspects of the collection. The personal touch was much appreciated and the kids are still buzzing about the Discovery Center and asking if they can see it again. YES THEY CAN AND WILL!Written 28 July 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- AWBusHampton7 contributionsThe museum is actually a part of the Tuck museum, and it keeps up to that:
Lovely exhibits from roundabout two centuries of Hampton firefighting, everything is kept in very good condition (feels like it is ready to be put back to use at any time :-) and lots of stories about everything are available from the friendly museum staff.

Played blackjack for my first time and the dealer was very kind in helping me understand the game!
The casino didn’t open until noon so we had to wait a while. That was probably the worst part of our experience (but even then, we found other things to do to waste time til they opened)Written 25 April 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Pamnh24 contributionsGreat venue with plenty of seating and reasonably priced. Huge side ceiling fans created a MAJOR breeze that made waiting for the venue to fill freezing! I was cold throughout the show. If I wanted to go again unless I could get the very center seats I would pass due to the fans.Written 2 September 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - BJMacK2 contributionsThis store is AMAZING! In the era of mass retail and production, they just don't make places like this anymore. Spotless store, every confection imaginable, staff as sweet as their candies. Their in-store experience brought me back to the lovely traditional candy store experience of my youth. The store is set up covid safe. The experience checked every 5 star box for me. I'll be dreaming about this place now. - egwanderlustHampton, NH1,224 contributionsSeacoast Flote truly has everything when talking about your self-care needs. I have visited previously to take part in their yoga and meditation classes. The teachers and staff are all laid-back and care about their clients.
My most recent visit with my husband was our first float experience and just what we needed to relax. The experience took my mind off of my daily stresses at home and work. An hour felt like an eternity and made me realize how grateful I am for my life. Each experience is customizable with the use of lights and music. Floating in the dark felt as if we were floating in space, quite a unique feeling. I recommend bringing a wet washcloth near the pod. The salt stings if you happen to splash it into your eyes. If you are questioning booking a session I urge you to give floating a shot.Written 22 January 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. We never miss it, otherwise - one of our favorite candy stores ever!
The owners are the nicest folks - they make it fun to visit every year! It has such a nice family feel to the place.
The shop is super clean, and the variety is amazing!
Fudge, candy, chocolate, and popcorn -- and lots of options within each category. Also, I was very impressed in the amount of Sugar-Free options.

It looks like they have refurbished the "green" recently because the turf is new considering I used to take my kids there when they were little and they are not 32 and 37. We have taken my grandkids there several times and while it does not have all the fancy features of some other courses, it is still a great place to play. I was able to get a groupon the first time I went and it included two ice creams and two rounds of golf for 12.95 which in my opinion is an outrageous bargain . Due to covid and the closing of just about anything enjoyable or fun, this course is at least open. We have visited twice in the last month and even without Groupon it was only 13. 00 and change total for two kids to play. Well worth it. Despite its age that is a huge bargain compared to places like Richardson's in Middleton Ma who charge much more for a newer course also with no bells and whistles.Written 17 August 2020This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - 9purple2014Southampton, UK28 contributionsComing from England we were looking for a friendly pub and were not disappointed. Great atmosphere and surroundings. Locals and staff were friendly and welcoming. The food was enjoyable especially the seafood chowder which had huge chunks of seafood. The meatloaf was also great but the stroganoff was a bit wet. Sorry u can keep the pumpkin pie- obviously an American thing! A big thank u to u all especially to Paula for her helpful travel tips. I’m now wearing my new 401 hoodie with pride back in my own local back home.Written 25 November 2017This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC.
