What travellers are saying
- Traveler666346889111 contributionWhat an amazing flashback into history. The displays were very well presented and documented. I especially liked the tunnel thru time. A great presentation of what life was like for my parents and my early years. The staff was great, friendly, and very informativeWritten 18 October 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - ChrisHFrederick, MD525 contributionsTwo adults visited the New Hampshire Boat Museum in Wolfeboro on a Saturday in last August 2023. At the admissions desk, we were told we could book a ride on one of their speedboats which docks at the Wolfeboro town dock and they would deduct the cost of the actual museum tours from the total. We did that and it cost us about $57 for both of us total. The museum took about an hour to see and we then drove to the dock area and parked in one of the city lots for free, about a 5 to 10 minute walk to the docks. The speedboat ride was fantastic. About 45 minutes total going several miles down the lake. A real blast. We highly recommend this tour. The boat fit about ten people plus the driver who stopped in several areas to tell us about the lake and the people living there.Written 2 September 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - NHjoSaco, ME8,611 contributionsI was at the other end of the Cotton Valley Rail Trail in Sanbornville earlier that day, where the historic RR turntable is in the aptly-named Turntable Park. I walked the trail a bit and saw quite a few bicyclists using it. It's a beautiful trail!Written 29 October 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- NHjoSaco, ME8,611 contributionsThis is one of the better waterfront parks I've seen. It's only one block down from Wolfeboro's main drag and has wonderful views of the lake, mountains, and boats. The gazebo is very picturesque. There are plenty of benches and it's a great picnic area. When I went in late October, the peak foliage had passed and the park wasn't crowded at all, not like it is in the summer when it's very popular.Written 29 October 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Kimberly CWilton, CT23 contributionsThe sand is super soft and the swimming area is perfect for kids. The scenery is beautiful, the water is clear and the beach was very clean. There are bathrooms and picnic tables. We biked to the beach on the rail trail.Written 8 September 2021This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - ChrisHFrederick, MD525 contributionsTwo adults visited here on a Saturday in late August 2023 and enjoyed ourselves. There is a little bit of everything in this collection ranging from taxidermied birds and animals, to Native American arrowheads/artifacts to silk hand fans to fossils to old coins and more. We got there only an hour before closing so didn't quite finish looking at everything, but for $5 a person it was worth it. YMMV. Appeared to be some activities for elementary age children and older. The staff were definitely nice.Written 2 September 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.

- Kevin MDover, NH100 contributionsI skied there yesterday after not skiing there in a couple of years it was very impressive! The conditions were great especially compared to most of the other XC ski areas in the state. The staff is very friendly and the trail pass is very reasonable at $12.Written 18 February 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Paul DWolfeboro, NH44 contributionsRead other reviews and my title says it all . Very clean, clear water, sunny and shady, canoe and kayak beach launch, nice view of surrounding hills, grills allowed, friendly staff who maintain the park, and usually not crowded, which is good, because it is a small park, the reason why I gave it a four star rating . Not sure if dogs are allowed, probably not ,because I"ve never seen any. PLEASE do not feed the ducks as the state requests on throughout the park.Written 10 March 2017This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Heather K15 contributionsWandered through the well maintained trail of Front Bay Park and enjoyed watching the water ski club practice on the jump from the cute gazebo. Loved seeing the wide variety of mushrooms growing along the trail. It was the perfect gentle walk through the forest for 3 generations of family.Written 6 August 2021This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Ruth479Concord, NH18 contributionsLovely barn and friendly staff! I totally enjoy spending time browsing the booths and have definitely found a few treasures to bring home! Lots of really neat Wicker and other furniture and lots of smalls. I really liked the pictures one of the artists makes with stones!
I also have a booth there, but am also a customer.Written 17 April 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. They offer about 6 of their own brews and have a selection of food. I tried thief DIPA and imperial stout. While not outstanding I found them both very good. For food we both ordered a chicken burrito bowl which was very tasty. Another plus was the service which was great.Written 16 June 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
