The beers are really good and the staff are truly the best and they are very knowledgeable. There were beers I didn't think I would like that I ended up liking. There is a great selection. My favorites changed each visit. I was able to get a tour and the explanation of the water they use which I thought was pretty cool. I went on a friday night and then Sunday afternoon and enjoyed both visits learning about things from local people. Bob's is massive and sells any and everything garden related; plants, patio furniture, pots, soil, garden tools, and lots of garden/wall decor. Their selection is simply unmatches to anything I've seen in NY and NJ. Their selection of indoor plants (and outdoor plants) is huge. Everything seemed to be very well cared for. Plants look very helthy. While walking throughout the store, I noticed lots of employees watering and tending to the plants. The prices are also very reasonable and compare to what you would find online. All staff including the cashier were very helpful, patient and friendly. Easy parking access from the main road. - gjp220Elizabethtown, PA173 contributionsThis is the first time we played here, what a big ballpark. The tees are such you can make is very hard over 7000 yards or easier with the forward tees.
Having just ariated the greens previously and the fairways that day play was acceptable and the workers accommodated us. We played in 3.5 hrs.which was great only a single ahead of us. With 4 separate tee boxes, it can be played at any skill or age level. The course was a bit tired with a ton of maintenance being done during many of the holes during the round. The rain has done work on this course as the edges are worn out and the fairway is rough in places. The greens are good and the sand traps better than expected. Hole 18 is a great ending and very much enjoyed that nice hole.
Playing this course in early Summer would be good.

My friend and I shared a red wine sangria jug which fell flat and seemed quite watered down. Disappointed we decided to get a couple glasses of red wine instead but it was even more of a let down! The fries and waffle fries were great though and I would definitely order that again.

The course is in great shape from tee boxes through the greens. Just a bit of water, but plenty of sand. Fairways are mostly generous, but all are lush and well-tended. Although I can't recall seeing a tree on the course, the rough varies from 'don't even bother looking' to 'I wish I weren't here' to 'I can make bogey from here'. A interesting and challenging set of holes, reportedly replicating mostly links-style holes in Great Britain. There are a few forced carries and blind shots, doglegs both ways and 2-3 lengthy four pars. Overall, a nice mix that makes the course fun to play.
Jim the starter stopped by on the front to see how I was doing and on the back to apologize for the fact he sent me out without knowing that the back nine greens had been top-dressed with sand. The greens still rolled true, and each putt left its own clear track.
