This trip was an absolute highlight of my trip to Bali and the main reason I will have to endure another long flight to return. I was staying in Ubud, so getting in two shortish shore dives was a still a long day (2.5 hours each way), fortunately my driver Nova was excellent.
The dives, Coal Gardens and Liberty, were phenomenal! Just me and the dive master. We saw so many clown fish, harlequin shrimp, a black tip reef shark, many frog fish, a ribbon moray, sting ray, peacock mantis shrimp, and so many cool corals and fish. I took almost 400 pictures with no strobe and barely needed editing on any. Just incredible!
