It was a rainy day with no one out and about. We walked around and looked at the houses and read the info. If in the area worth a stop.

A must-do when in the Gardiner area. Beautiful, easy to follow trails along springs and mountain laurel.

Rosendale Trestle is the star of this adventure, located between mile markers 15 and 16. If you are driving here, it is on Route 213 just west of the Rosendale "Business District". As the parking situation is confusing - when you see the trestle, find the first road that is North and West of it and go up the hill to get to the parking lot (called Binnewater Parking Area) which will be on your left. The New Paltz section starting just before mile marker 8 through mile marker 9 is the other recommended part - make sure to explore the shops, dining options and Historic Huguenot Street all of which are within a few blocks of the trail in this section. The trail is crushed rock and well maintained - always enjoyable for hiking

We visited on a Tuesday with our dog. Dogs were actually allowed inside the winery which was great. Staff were super friendly. Wines were good and the grounds were very pretty.

A really nice place just a few minutes off the Thruway. Get a couple of pizzas, a strawberry salad, and some ciders... grab a picnic table and just relax. Fast and friendly service, very good eats, and a chill setting. So good we went 2 weekends in a row.

A great find if you're passing through New Paltz. A short drive from the center of town. The art is amazing. The artist was very welcoming. Her gallery is spacious and does her art the justice it deserves. She also sells prints and I bought three. I highly recommend visiting this gallery. Call ahead. Youi won't be disappointed.

Tim, Kettleborough Cider House, presented cider tasting to my family while we were staying at the Kettleboro Inn. Tim gave us lots of interesting information about apples and cider making. The ciders we tasted were delicious and of course several of us made purchases to take home. If you are in the area, I highly recommend a visit there!

I have seen 3 compelling plays produced by this professional theatre company. The material is contemporary and thought-provoking, the actors and creative teams are all very talented, and the space itself is cozy and innovative. If you head to New Paltz, take in a show at Denizen Theatre!

Get away from modern complexities and spend an hour or two enjoying views of the Wallkill River, wild meadows in full bloom, hummingbirds, dragonflies, and your own thoughts

The farm has real good veggies and fruits I give that to them, but the people that work there at the shop have no personnallity almost to the point of rude. There are many places around don't need to go there.

It's a nice landmark, but there is not much to see. you can just see it while driving to the top of the hill where an incredible, and I mean incredible view of the Mountain Range : " the Gunks" await you. Should you decide to park, be mindful of where you park your vehicle. I believe that there are plans for a parking lot, but in the meantime, you can just admire it from the road.

Nice variety of apples, but when I called, they said there was no entrance fee for their apples but when I came, you HAD to buy a bag to go into the field. To me, that's the same thing. I wanted to pay for what I bought, not be forced to buy a peck because I had a family of 4.

Came across this place while walking the nearby trail and they were nice enough to give me a tour around the brewing process. The place smells amazing and the bourbon is even better.

My first time at a local winery. Can't compare to the Finger Lakes where the wines are less expensive, nice gift shops & professional looking employees. Most wines ran $17 & $18 a bottle. The big barn was impressive but be prepared to climb stairs. The wines were good and if you needed one more taste they were accommodating.

We have enjoyed all the photos and pictures of this area of the Hudson Valley. He also feature great imagines of the Mohonk area. Great to hang home and remind us of our visits.
