As it was mid-June when I visited not too many people were at the beach. - Kristin T7 contributionsSpent a lovely afternoon/evening here with my husband and two teens. Nordic spas are something we love to do together. Great location with all the essentials - pools, seating, well kept grounds and buildings. Views were amazing. The pool area is quite exposed to the sun with only a few spots in the shade. Would really benefit from more flora and fauna to fill in the space. Do need to address the heat in the change rooms though. Uncomfortably hot.
Dining experience was excellent. Food was creative and thoughtfully prepared with fresh ingredients grown onsite. Great wine selection and fun cocktails with non-alcoholic options.
My one criticism is with regard to the silence policy in the pools. We were reminded of the silence policy by staff while three of us sat in the pool with no one else around. Completely unnecessary. Our experience at other spas is that quiet talk amongst guests does not ruin the experience for others. It enhances your experience within your group. The running water is constant white noise and keeps any chat-noise to a minimum.
