- lee9Plantation, FL823 contributionsWhat a pleasant place to buy a bottle of wine and sit in the various spots in the front, while listening to music (weekends) and enjoying the vineyards setting. No table service offered, must order at the bars. Good selection of wines, not so much food, just a bite of expensive snacks. I saw folks bringing their own picnics. Very enjoyable highly recommended it.Written 17 July 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- KDP90205Alva, FL13 contributionsVery fun outdoor day adventure. You have to pay for what you catch per lb. Only suggestion would be an option to donate fish if unable to keep. We paid for our catch and handed over to a grateful and wonderful fellow fisherwoman. Where they clean the fish needs to be maintained it was filthy and grossly unmaintained.Written 5 January 2021This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Tami VRocky Mount, NC16 contributionsMy children, grandchildren and mom enjoyed this so much! - Felicity WCharlotte, NC56 contributionsWe wanted to buy a plant for a friend who is new to the mountains and to gardening. The lady who assisted us gave us a range of plants to choose from and explained the pluses and minuses of each. Our friend is delighted with our pick and we would most certainly go there again.Written 1 June 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - david c1 contributionThis is a review regarding the Sugar Mountain Resort in North Carolina in the 1980s. In 1986 I made the 400-mile drive alone to the resort from South Carolina to practice my ski skills. On my third day I took the Summit Express lift to the top and skied down Northridge, around Switchback and then halfway down Upper Flying Mile. There I rested at the side of the trail slightly below a large bump. It was a very clear day and suddenly, a three- or four-year-old in full racing gear with a helmet and bib leaped off the top of the mogul at forty miles per hour and almost decapitated me. The kid was in a racing tuck like an out-of-control cannonball, and I saw the ski tips whiz by me at head level. No doubt he (or she) eventually made it to the U.S. Olympic Ski Team. (I survived "night life" in a dorm with NCAA Division IAA football players, and a varsity skier who had four different sets of skis.) This was many years ago. But parents---please control your children.Written 15 January 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.

Please consider donating your extra books. Also a great use of a historic building! - Robert NNaples, Florida65 contributionsHave been to numerous shows at this quaint theater. Only 100 seats with VERY friendly staff. Very reasonable tickets at $24.00 per person. - That Joy Within w2 contributionsSo happy that we were able to visit Apple Hill Farm today! In fact, this was our second visit having visited last February as well! The tour is fun and enlightening and it is neat to see a working fiber farm. Our tour guide, Tyler, was engaging and informative. The animals seem well loved and well cared for. I love llamas which is what made me want to visit, but I sure love all those goats and the guard donkeys too. We plan to come back again (outside of February, lol) sometime when in the area. Gotta check on those triplet goat sisters that I fell in love with on our first tour! If you are looking for something different to do, and a fun day out, this is highly recommended!Written 24 February 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. We were looking for something unique to do to kickoff the wedding weekend and this fit the bill perfectly. Cierra had prepared our work table with fresh flowers and everything was ready for us when we arrived. She was patient and helpful as she explained every step of the candle-making process and helped us get the scent combinations we were trying to make. This was such a fun experience and all of us agreed we'd definitely do it again.Written 4 October 2021This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC.
