This is always a nice shopping experience when in Blowing Rock. On this particular visit, I needed new shoes for hiking. I bought some Columbis shoes and got a really nice deal.

Nice cottage of artist Elliot Dangerfield. Full of history in the winter and in summer it houses regional artist, a different artist each week. Fabulous works of art. A must see.

What a wonderful surprise in the middle of western foothills. The proprietor is Danielle and she is "tres" French. Just a super lady who knows her French, obviously, but also the products and markets of Provence. A super shop with all things French. We can't wait to go back ---- to Blowing Rock, but also to France.

First this is a large plain building just off the 321 highway on the way north into Boone NC. The business has a large gravel parking lot. Once inside it is well laid out with room to walk and browse. It is clean and temperature controlled. We even received a friendly greeting upon entering. Once inside you will find some of these type items, pictures, coke-cola collectibles, a few signs, primitives and farm tools, quilts, dolls and diecast cars, some furniture, and glassware. Prices on most items were or appeared to be reasonable or comparable with other antique stores we have visited. A worthwhile stop if you enjoy antiques or shopping for a unique item for your collection.

This was a really nice antiques store, not a garage sale. The first floor was well stocked with antique furniture and home décor items. In the basement they were having a 50% off sale with large variety of headboards, mantle pieces, children's toys such as wagons and ride on toys. As with any antique stores you really need to take you time and look for hidden gems. The staff was friendly, Parking was easy on Main Street and the area was very walkable. We will go back for more visits.

The chocolate was so smooth and creamy. We had to go back and got the ice cream that time (and more chocolate!). The ice cream is wonderful. It’s cold and the perfect texture.

I got pecan tuttles and soft chocolate covered toffee.
    I will definitely be back!

We stopped in here while exploring downtown Blowing Rock, and I’m very glad we did! There are a wide variety of scents for all times of year. The staff is friendly and helpful! They even mentioned that they offer refills of their candles for a discounted price. Definitely worth stopping by!

We stopped at Footsloggers Wednesday and the kids and hubby thoroughly enjoyed the rock wall. Everyone working was very kind and helpful. On Saturday the kids (10, 12, 14, 17) and dad went out to their ropes course and had a blast! Three hours of fun as they clambered around and the guys working there were great. They were really good with all the kids helping them feel confident and be successful as they worked through the course. The kids wouldn’t stop talking about how much fun they had! Thanks for helping us find some fun on a rainy week!

Great place. I take the 6 yr old in (she is well behaved) and tell her to go for it. You do not get nasty looks from the staff. Kids are most welcome to come in and look about. Be ready to spend some time here. It takes a long time to decide on one thing. The toys are good quality and they gift wrap one gift. They also have a loyalty card.

We visited the actual pottery off Blackberry Road just south of Blowing Rock. The pleasant shop sells hand thrown production pottery. The family has been making pottery for five generations. There is a large wood fired kiln which gets loaded and fired a few times each year. Unloading the last Saturday in June and the Saturday after Thanksgiving come to mind. Watching the ash-glazed pots come out of the kiln would be fun if you are in the area. We plan to check out their store in Blowing Rock. We enjoy supporting a real family business.

Worth a stop in for a cup of tea and all the custom spices and teas they have. Staff is knowledgeable, friendly, and high level of customer support. Being able to smell all the different spices and teas was wonderful.

Definitely worth stopping-in when in Blowing Rock.

Great find in Blowing Rock. Fabrics are great - saw some Tula Pink and Ruby Star Society. I fell in love with rope coils when I bought a coaster kit in Paducah at the quilt show. I have purchased a few books but the technique / style of the items here are some of the best I have seen. The quality is amazing! I bought a kit and some quilting fabric, super excited to get these new projects going.

The selection and quality of items for sale in this store are unique compared to what you find the the other gift shops in town. Definitely worth a visit.
