The tourist attraction was surprising fun for my entire family which included 2 teenagers. We were given a small discount on our $40 bucket for being in the military, which was a nice gesture. We learned a lot about gemstones after we found our stones from the bucket. We also ordered 2 pieces of jewelry from our findings. The price was quite high for the jewelry compared to what downtown Boone sold in their shops(sterling plus gemstones). I paid the high price bc it was a fun memory for my girls and they will always have that piece of jewelry to remember our trip by.

This beautiful resource in the middle of Boone is a mountain jewel. The trail is appropriate for walking or riding a bike. It is level, scenic, and safe as it winds behind and through retail locations, past recreational fields, and skirts the headwaters of the New River, encompassed by mountain hillsides.

The brewery had a great space for kids to run, great beer (and a mocktail since I couldn’t drink at the time), and delicious pizza!

The trail is in the EB Jeffress Park. It's an easy walk in and out to a beautiful and peaceful waterfall. Unfortunately, the bottom half of the trail was under repair and we were not able to go all of the way down to enjoy the full beauty of the waterfall. What we did see was magnificent. The trail was marked with placards to identify the different plants.

Sunrise Mountain Golf is located near Boone, NC. We enjoy mini golf, so we decided to try it. The golf course is located on the side of a mountain, so some of the holes are tricky because they start uphill. They offer free games if you get a hole-in-one on certain holes. There is a restaurant at this location so you can get something to eat. We didn't try the restaurant, but we enjoyed the golf course.

The Farmer's Market is a great place for guests and staff to spend their Saturday mornings! The local vendors always have great fresh food, and hand made goods.

I really enjoyed the race track. Great for family outing, plenty of seating, food on site and exciting to see all the car races. Very fast paced, one race after another. This is a hidden little gem in Boone.

A visit back in time. Nice guide showed us around the various appalachian buildings and views into life hundreds of years ago.

Grandkids visiting and never ridden before. Amie and DJ made sure the 5 and 8 year old understood how to drive and made sure they as well as the grandparents were comfortable. Kids had a blast. My own two boys drove go karts there when they were young.
Amie is really working hard to bring the business back from where it is now. Great fun! Would recommend.

My family and I had a great time. The place was full of energy both inside and out. What a great ambience!

Regarding their selection of beers, it was plentiful with options for every beer snob palate (including mine). I am not a fan of IPAs, so I sampled just about everything else. Very nice!

On to the food. This is where this place takes it up a notch. We decided to go heavy on the appetizers and were SO happy we did. Every item we ordered was amazing! We selected the soft pretzel (and added the smoked sausage), Hot Honey Chicken Tenders, and the Crispy Brussel Sprouts. Then added gluten free flatbread (for my wife). Again, all were awesome!

And given how busy they were, the staff was prompt with caring for our needs.

If I am ever in this area again, I will come back.

Our group had a really enjoyable time learning how to make fire with Tanner. He showed us 4 different ways to make a fire from nothing. He also shared a lot about nature, knives, and survival just in the process of teaching us that I never thought of before.

I left feeling more prepared, closer to nature, and just really blessed that we were offered the opportunity to learn here.

The location has a REALLY long and rough road to get in, so be aware of that. It's NATURE. Nature is rough. Once you get beyond that, you will love what is on offer.
