They not only told us good places to see white squirrels but also recommend some places to eat for our anniversary. She was so sweet and helpful! - barbd2 contributionsOn a recent visit to Brevard, NC my friend and I booked a private pottery lesson at Mud Dabbers Pottery. Neither of us had ever worked in pottery so we were looking forward to trying something new. The owner and potter, John, was extremely knowledgeable about his craft and was an excellent teacher. I went in hoping to come out with almost anything and was pleasantly surprised that John guided us through the process well enough that we each made three very nice pieces of pottery to call our own! Could not have asked for a more relaxing, fun experience with a skilled craftsman to lead us through the process. The two hours passed so quickly and we enjoyed every minute! It was also fun to look at the pieces that he had in the shop for sale. Not only did it have stylist clothes, shoes and gifts; the staff were extremely helpful & warm in helping me find great outfits - never pushy at all, that right mix of suggestive of items and honest if they don’t work. Lots to review. You can actually try everything on so as not to get the wrong size as often happens with Internet shopping. They are open 7 days a week and don't close shop at 5:00. Much to choose from costumes, wigs, jewelry, masks, hats, hair accessories, glasses, vintage clothing, shoes, themed stockings/ leggings, bow ties, face paint, etc. They will also steam a packaged costume so it's ready to wear. It's a little off the beaten path (just around the corner from the most touristy and high-traffic street) and it was the best stop of the day! Super cute apparel and jewelry that is unique and just my style. I bought a corduroy headband that I will wear all the time. I'll definitely be back when I have more time to try on some outfits! The owner is so friendly and helpful. We were visiting Brevard for Thanksgiving and decided to stop by to see if they had any CBD products for pets. The employee working was extremely helpful. She explained the product and the dosage my dog would probably need. I was skeptical but gave him a dose and he is already so much more calm. My husband and I were actually able to leave without him shaking and howling constantly. Hopefully this will be a huge help for him while traveling! With no separate entrance or cashiers, it seems like one store to me. But it is a logical addition to Bullwinkle's jigh-end outdoor gear. The shoes carried seem very nice.
