It was a cloudy day when I visited and it was closed for the season. Still nice to say I went there. They had a clean bathroom.

It was very windy and cold when I visited, so I really didn't enjoy it much. Besides that, it was still beautiful to look at.

This house is definitely worth touring if you like old homes. It was built in the early 1920s and has alot of character you don't see in old homes in this area. It is an audio tour which uses ipads in each room.
In the same park is the Currituck Beach Lighthouse and Maritime Museum.

Nice place to get some exercise in the shade away from beach. Flat and Sandy. Tennis shoes are fine. Saw one black snake and heard plenty of bugs. One fly bite without wearing any repellent.

Although I enjoyed the entire experience, I especially enjoyed talking to the woman at the front desk. She was not only friendly, but entertained us with tales of the club area and the features about the wildlife that live on and/or visit the island. A very good ambassador for the northern Outer Banks!

This outdoor shopping area has many different types of shops, sure to have something for everyone- from apparel to OBX souvenirs to exotic types of jerky—there is plenty to view. There are also restaurants, ice cream shops, and activities, it’s worth a visit. Take an umbrella if it rains though, as there are buildings that are separated/not covered.

Small and quaint village with interesting history. Worth driving through and stopping if your schedule permits.

Quaint makes me think of the song! " Chapel of Love " by the Dixie Cups. A must-see just so cute as you stroll up the flowering tree walkway.

This brewery is tiny and maybe two tables inside. Beers were good, you can sit outside on the patio tables that are shared by the restaurant next door. A nice option for those of use staying in Corolla who don’t want to drive 45 minutes to the southern breweries.

This is my favorite part of vacation! I'm a spin instructor, participate and sometimes instructor for a boot camp at home, and participate in everything from 100 mile bike rides to triathlons and can attest that this is a fantastic workout with an amazing and motivating group of people! You can't beat the scenery and will be amazed at how much you can do with these workouts! I'll be back every year!

This park is part of the historic village, which as a whole is easily a 5 star must do location in Northern OBX. The park itself is well maintained and is the centerpiece around Whalehead. There is a nice bridge and lots of good photo opportunities.
