Great maps to help you find the apples. The shop was really cute to wonder around. - Jon SSpringfield, IL11 contributionsWe totally enjoyed our stop at the Silver Fork Winery. We sat on the deck with a beautiful view of the vineyard and mountains. My partner ordered a glass of wine while I ordered four tastings. I was very surprised when our hostess poured into the little carafes what looked to be enough wine for four glasses. She lated told me that it was the equivalent of two of their glasses, but theit one glass pour was very generous. Well maintained, peaceful with several points of direct access to the Catawba River. Bonus that we got to pick fresh blueberries - they taste so wonderful! Every staff member that we encountered seemed genuinely happy to be at work and engage with customers. Lots of fun! The park has a lot of walking trails, there’s a frisbee golf course, and an adult climbing area that you can book ahead of time if you’re inclined. We wandered down along the rivers edge and found an area for the kids to play in the sand and water. The lady and gentleman working there were extremely friendly. They are expanding to include a wine bar and courtyard seating. The wine was delicious too.
