    Great tap list and bottle selection. Nice variety of sours, stouts and other styles. Definitely worth a stop.

    Lovely setting for an excellent winery!
    Beautiful vineyard and winery in NC. Lovely porch and patio to sip wine and enjoy some cheese. The wines were quite good and we purchased several bottles. White wine is usually my favorite but the reds were outstanding!

    Adults and kids both loved it
    What a gym this park is. There’s a playground area with lots of activities for the kids including swings and rope ladders and mini rock walls and slides. Lots of fun! The park has a lot of walking trails, there’s a frisbee golf course, and an adult climbing area that you can book ahead of time if you’re inclined. We wandered down along the rivers edge and found an area for the kids to play in the sand and water. They had so much fun they were asking us whentheycould go back as soon as we were leaving

    Our favorite greenway
    We love biking this greenway. There is parking at either end and midway at Catawba Meadows Park where there are also rest rooms. Well maintained, peaceful with several points of direct access to the Catawba River. If only it were a bit closer to home!

    The Shop Was Nice
    We were just looking for apples, but I'm getting picky in my old age about varieties and I wasn't interested in the ones they had there - but the shop had all sorts of goodies and I got away with presents for my whole book group (which I won't list here in case they read my reviews).
    I'm originally from the northeast and lived and worked as an adult in NY and MA so I'm used to a huge variety of apples, which I'm sure are much less common now than they once were.
    Anyway, Apple Hill Orchard is a nice facility with some interesting merchandise - in addition to apples.
    The turn off at the church is a bit confusing as it looks only like you're turning into the church parking lot, so we went past the turn the first time.

    Nice Brewery
    They have remodeled and expanded since my last visit here, a great little place to stop for a craft beer. nice indoor and outdoor seating.

    So much to see here!
    Drove in from Texas to visit family in the area and stopped in to see some local history. Lovely, personable staff and extremely knowledgeable tour guide. You could tell how much pride she has in the history of the area. Our guide pointed out so many items of interest to us, it seems there’s something for everyone here. I work in Optometry and she even brought us back around so I could get a few photos of my favorite room! So much history bundled into this one building. This was such a great experience, we know we will be bringing the kids along next time we are out this way!

    Good wine tasting experience, good wines.
    Had a most enjoyable afternoon sampling a number of their delicious wines. Several versions of Blueberry-I liked the Semi Sweet Blueberry wine best, but both my wife and i also enjoyed Carolina White Moscato. Debbie was a most gracious hostess and took good care of us. They also have a good selection of cheese and crackers and a Charcuterie Board, as well as ice Cream.

    Another Visit
    Good place to visit and the activities downtown are worth the trip. Look close or you will miss some hidden gems from food and courthouse to shopping and activities

    Wonderful Selection of Art
    The art hre is varied and mostly local. Sculpture, paintings, photos, etc. This is not an amateur or craft art exhibition. These works are truly wonderful. A must see.

    Brochures information for area
    This was our meeting place to take the Ridgeline Trolley on Blue Ridge Parkway up to Linville Falls. Beautiful fall tree colors.

    The Burke Center has lots of brochures on area. Very informative. This is only information center. I answered no on most of questions asked below.
    If you take the Ridgeline Trolley tour definitely wear athletic shoes.

    Wonderful antique stop
    Really enjoyed our stop at this antique store. It has a ton of variety of antiques. There was so much I wanted to buy. The lady and gentleman working there were extremely friendly. They are expanding to include a wine bar and courtyard seating. The wine was delicious too. I look forward to returning in the future!

    What a Nice Venue and Offerings
    WE have been here a couple of times to see a balet and Christian Rock concert. It is well done especially for a town the size of Morganton. WE are also escited about the shows they pull into the area. It has a good size of seating capacity. The only negative for us was how cramped the seating was. For the ballet we were seated in the middle of the second row. If you are 6'1" or above sit on the edge. Otherwise your legs will be so cramped it will limit your enjoyment. That is what we did on our second visit and were fine.

    Overall it is a nice venue with some really cool offerings. WE felt the prices were fair as well. Definitely check out who is coming to the area and go!

    Turning clay to art
    Beautiful pottery and art. Several pottery artists are displayed, with different styles. Worth a look, and a few purchases.
