Very cool FREE tour of the "cottage" frozen in the time of FDR. Knowledgeable tour guides and interpreters in the visitor centre. Lots of beautiful vistas and scenic rocky beaches along the well maintained dirt roads through the huge wooded park across the road.
Had a very nice but pricey chowder and sandwich lunch at one of the other historic cottages in the complex of (4?)

Campobello Island is fabulous! It is a gorgeous island with rich history and beautiful scenery! Roosevelt Campobello International Park is wonderful, the summer cottage of the Roosevelts is so worth a tour and Head Harbor Lighthouse is iconic! I would absolutely visit this area again!

Very nice campground with tent sites, cabins and small chalets, and hookups for trailers and RV’s. They have one HP cabin and one HP chalet. The park is clean and has a manned office with Wi-Fi if you are close to the office. There are some very nice trails with scenic views. The beach is spectacular.

Well kept lighthouse. Easily seen from Lubec, but worth heading over the bridge onto Campobello Island. Unlike many lighthouses, there is an individual there that tells you a little about the lighthouse, the surrounding area, etc. Very friendly and informative on what to do in the area.

Worth the drive to the tip of the island. If tide is low, you apparently can get closer to the Lighthouse. Still a nice view if not. Wonderful view of the water around the area. Nice to just sit and relax taking it all in. While there you may see seals, eagles, etc. if you are looking.

Peter provided a fabulous sightseeing trip today! His knowledge of the island, sprinkled with interesting stories of the past and present made it truly memorable. He showed us so many things that we would never have found on our own. What a great experience!

We had s group of 12 , 5 were kids under 8 and the captain was awesome with them . Brandon pointed out different things while looking for whales . He was very patient answering multiple questions the kids had. We had a great trip and have plane to book another trip with them . Thank you Brandon , kids will have great memories

We loved our first trip so much, we booked another one 3 days later! Captain Brandon and his son are locals, who clearly know and love the waters around Campobello Island. The boat is smaller than the glitzy whale watching tours out of Saint Andrews, but it enables them to respond more quickly as things evolve.

Our first trip out, Captain was able to maneuver the boat, with his knowledge of the tidal currents, so that we had a Minke whale repeatedly in our sights. In fact, as close as maybe 20 yards! But that said, he is very respectful of the marine life, and doesn't crowd them. (It was the Minke's choice to surface so close to us!) We didn't think there was anyway he could beat the first trip, but just wanted to be out on the water when we booked the second. That one surpassed the first! Captain found a porpoise feeding frenzy. It was surreal to be surrounded by so many porpoises, diving around and under us! And he was able to give us a view of a finback whale on that trip as well. Absolutely spectacular!
