Whether you walk, drive or bus to view the needles it’s well worth also visiting the Old Battery. An amazing amount of work has gone into restoring this historical defensive gun battery by the NT and with the many artefacts and information you can visualise how it operated in the 19th century thru WW1 to WW2.
Great views across the Solent to the mainland.

Great rocks and views, shame the dinosaur minigolf didn’t seem to have all dinosaurs. Also just a bit too windy but that’s the weather’s fault.

My friend and I stopped here en route to the Old Battery for a snack. Really friendly staff, beautiful dog Ollie, great setting. Highly recommend

£2 to see craftsmen at work and making a vase in front you!!

Stunning value for money and hugely interesting with the chap giving a constant running informative commentary.

    Highly recommended

I loved this place - reading some recent reviews I'm a bit confused!

I've never heard of needles before but my husband came across it and suggested we give it a go - I'm so glad we did!

The chairlift was a great way to take in the scenery - which if the weather is right - like ours way - looks beautiful - you forget your in England! It was £8pp for a return - you could walk back up but the chairlift is part of the fun!

We paid £15pp for the high speed rib boat - that's a must do - I was laughing and screaming most of the way - such a fun experience - it looks beautiful out there with the lighthouse.

Needles had a live band playing - Derek Sandy who was great and got people dancing and in the mood for fun! Then we had a drink and something to eat in the restaurant there - the restaurant isn't anything special but it's nothing bad either! it's good value and it's food which you need!

The rides are for kids - but for the chairlift and rib boat alone it's worth it!
