- Teressa N2 contributionsBeautiful to just get out in nature and explore the local areas more! Lots of walking places to go and enjoy the scenery we have right in front of us allWritten 12 November 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - PassionatelyHonestStaffordshire, UK38 contributionsGood quality and choice of food in the cafe but surprisingly not dog friendly which is a real disappointment as they could very easily accommodate given hard floors and multiple entrances to the cafe. No outside shelter so would only visit again on a dry day. Couple of destination EV chargers which is a bonus.Written 17 October 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - apophisguardStaffordshire, UK3,142 contributionsA nice enough small country church nestled next to Stokesay castle, near Ludlow, Shropshire. To be fair, it's nothing really out of the ordinary, but worth a visit if your going to the Castle.
Think of the church used in "Carry On Dick" and you're pretty close to what this church looks like inside. My only gripe is the amount of poster, leaflets, pamphlets etc littered about the church. This ruins the ambiance of the place unfortunately.
The grounds and graveyard are very well kept.
Not worth a special visit, but pop in if you're heading to the castle.Written 18 February 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - hollieam92Limassol8 contributionsVisited the stables in the evening before heading to a local takeaway place. Fab service, glass was barely empty when filled by a cheerful young man - funny jokes. Great banter. Football on. Just overall great service.Written 16 August 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - PeteWLawLudlow, UK1,705 contributionsI was very lucky as my flight was only two weeks after I bought my voucher. The morning was almost windless so we spent a long time over Stokesay Court, and then drifted slowly North to land after 80 mins in Craven Arms. Lindsay, our pilot, made a perfect landing in the industrial estate. It was a marvellous experience with amazing views over the Shropshire countryside and of Stokesay Castle. Getting the balloon ready and then packing it away afterwards added to the experience, which ended with Champagne. My only slight disappointment was that the wind was too weak and in the wrong direction to see Ludlow from above.Written 1 August 2018This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC.
