Well run even after Covid. At the window I would recommend Mary. She is spunky, informative, and know guest service. Ships leave on time. Very organized getting people on and off.

Sailing on Lake Erie with Capt. Jake on the Valkyrie was absolutely fantastic! Capt. Jake was so knowledgeable not only about the entire sailing logistics and maneuvering but also about the area and landmarks. We took our family (6 passengers total) for a 5-hour, half-day cruise. We thoroughly enjoyed our time on the water and would highly recommend this charter.

Captain Joe has got to be the hardest working guy I have ever seen. Kept us engaged with his great personality and we caught a lot of walleye as well. Would definitely use him again.

My husband and I went on the 9 mile trip last Saturday. The Portage River Paddling Co employees were great and the river was beautiful. We saw lots of turtles, birds, and an eagles nest on our paddle. We will definitely be back to do this trip again!!

Captain Juls is an excellent fishing guide. She is very professional and knowledgeable about every aspect of fishing.
I booked the trip mainly for educational purposes to learn more about in-line planer boards. Capt Juls uses Offshore planer boards. The way she showed us sold me on using them on our boat.
She has a beautiful Ranger and her equipment is state of the art. If you need to learn more or just want to fill the freezer with fish. She will give you both. i highly recommend her. We had a blast and definitely will go with her again.

John Solecki is the best charter captain we have hired in 20 years on Lake Erie. Friendly, great attitude, expert fish finding skills, huge, comfortable boat.

    Highly recommended.

NOTE: The boat is docked on Catawba, not Port Clinton, as the address shows.

This was an awful charter on a dirty boat. I don't think the boat has been cleaned for days if not weeks. Soda cans, line wrappers and mud all over the deck space. We caught a bunch of white perch, 3 catfish (that's right, 3 on a catfish charter) and a walleye. We watched another captain moving and trying to catch fish while ours kept saying, " I don't understand it" or "I wish you guys would catch more fish". I would have been ahead to throw $400 in the bay and stayed in bed. This was really, really the worst charter out of the dozens I've taken throughout my lifetime. Plus, did I mention the boat was gross?

I wanted to do something special for my husband's birthday and came across North Coast Boat Tours on the web. What a great decision. Captain Sue was extremely helpful in planning what kind of excursion we would take. We wanted to see the South Bass Island Lighthouse, as well as Marblehead Lighthouse. Our trip also included seeing downtown Port Clinton and the beautiful houses on the Cliffs of Catawba Island. We absolutely loved our trip and the cost was very reasonable. Would we do it again ???? YES !!!!

    Potential Customers,

We've scheduled an annual fishing charter with Erie Express for the past 4-5 years and have had great experiences. Our group (6) has caught our walleye limit multiple times and enjoyed our trips with Captain Mike (and Lisa) each year.

Bait & Tackle are provided for everyone and the level of customer service on the boat is great! They're quick to resolve any line issues and have been very accommodating in setting up our tackle based on individual preferences. Mike's willing to spend extra time on the lake for the group to hit their walleye limit, not tied to a specific wrap up time. My daughter doesn't care to fish much but she's excited to do her single trip each year when we head out on Mike's boat. There's plenty of space for a group of 6 people in the back of the boat too.

I was fortunate to participate in in multiple trips this year and limited out (6 walleye per person) on both trips. Mike also helped me arrange a 3rd trip on short notice which was another 'limit out' trip.

Highly recommend Erie Express to folks looking for a fun experience!

If I could give 0 I would. My husband and his friends had a trip scheduled with this charter at the end of August and the trip got stormed out. The owner will not refund any of the money they paid toward this trip. Steer clear of this guy.

We had a great day fishing and the people from Coe Vanna were great to deal with. We spent the day fishing and having a good time. We spent the night in one of their modular homes which was clean and had a lot of room for all of us. This was very convenient as it saved a long drive early in the morning. Would book a charter with them again.

Our group of three couples had a fun walleye fishing trip with La Copa Caban-A Charters. Captain Copa got us to the fish, and he and First Mate John saw that we had a great experience. They are definitely customer-oriented, entertaining and professional.

The unit we had seem to have a shortage of light bulbs-hard to see throughout each room. So many little things that needed to be corrected and cleaned. The pond itself was dirty and stank. The pavilion was in total disarray with garbage galore. The landscaping was horrific. There was a stench by our front door of dead fish. There wasn't any phone numbers to call anyone who ran the complex. The fishing decks were falling apart. Definitely no TLC taken at this place.
