- NATALIE RBristol, UK11 contributionsAll the South West coast path is an excellent experience.
There are many hidden gems to discover along the trail that most people will not experience if they are not prepared to walk a while which means the few that do get some amazing spots to themselves. We'd recommend wearing non slip beach shoes!Written 20 August 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- BuckUkUK19 contributionsStill a great little place to visit, the beach cafe is still very popular. Would have given 5 stars, if the toilet facilities were open.Written 5 February 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Ceri CBargoed, UK68 contributionsThe museum is staffed by volunteers and not always open but deserves to be better known. Lots of interest here, not just to the amateur radio buffs but also to laymen like me.
The volunteers were a friendly bunch.
Spectacular views from the Marconi monument on the cliffs.Written 10 March 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Rory561Windsor, UK251 contributionsLuckily this was near our hotel and was really handy to wear the dog out! Nice sandy cove, free parking out of season, clean beach. Surf school runs from here and was nice to watch.Written 4 December 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - DenzalWirral, UK267 contributionsThis small garden was designed, built and is maintained by local volunteers. It is a delightfully quiet place to sit and chill. A little gem in the middle of a lovely Cornish village.Written 19 December 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - CatherinemblandEdinburgh, UK81 contributionsVery friendly, relaxed and experienced staff, who know how to give beginners a fun and reassuring hacking experience. It was very leisurely and lovely.Written 12 September 2021This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- Steve NHampshire202 contributionsWe have been here many times, indeed on every visit to Cornwall.
This time we made our own things. It was therapeutic, fun, educational and worthwhile. Zoe hells and guides but not so that she leads. She helps you with your plans.
I have seen images of two of the items made. Neither are as good a Zoe's work but that is to be expected. Who cares ?
It was fun. Family bonding time. And the really good pieces that Zoe makes are inspirational.Written 14 July 2021This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. I have played all the classic links in UK some memorable some not so much, but I won’t forget mullion, firstly the condition is a credit to the green keepers, the layout is great and you see the sea from most holes and thirdly the challenge of playing some holes the like you will not have played before, the views from all of the course are fantastic and would be hard to bettered anywhere. It’s good value for money I have played far worse courses where the green fee is triple.
A course that should be ticked on your playlist, will defo play again.Written 13 September 2020This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Naomi FUnited Kingdom938 contributionsHad a spa day here which was fortunately booked on a rainy day of our trip. Even with the dodgy weather it was obvious the grounds are beautiful and views from the restaurant and bar weren’t overly hindered by the dull skies. They were great at communicating through the booking process - extremely helpful and everything felt well taken care of.
On the whole we had a wonderful time. The massages we had were great and overall it was a relaxing day. The indoor pool isn’t much to write home about but in the end it did the job, nice for a little swim and a lovely hot jacuzzi! Would have loved to experience the outdoor pool as well it looked really clean and well maintained. The slight downer on our day was the afternoon tea experience. We had pre booked a time slot and specifically hung around before heading to the restaurant as we thought we couldn’t go in early. When we popped in, it was full and we were told there weren’t reservations. The staff handled it pretty well and we were taken round to the main restaurant so we could have a window seat. Our order was taken fAirlt quickly but things went a bit downhill from there. It took over half an hour to even receive our drinks - it seemed like they were a bit understaffed but couldn’t be sure it was that or we had been forgotten due to being in the other room. The afternoon tea was really tasty but looking at the menu without it being part of a package it is expensive for what it is! Due to how long it took to turn up I had to leave the meal half way through and go for my massage.
It would have been lovely to stay here and I definitely wouldn’t be put off going back again! The location is the big draw card but if you’re really after a luxury spa break the facilities of the pool / changing areas would be off puttingWritten 11 August 2021This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Had the sauna, steam room and salt cave all to myself, before an amazing massage (thanks Poppy) in their therapy suite. Finished the day, sitting in the big bay window, overlooking a very dramatic sea scape, whilst chomping my way through a nicely warmed Cornish Cream Tea. Soooo very relaxed. All the staff I met were lovely & made my experience a really positive one. What a wonderful place.Written 5 October 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- Nick WNailsea, UK119 contributionsTo save you a journey to Mullion, the store is now sadly closed down. Shame, was a nice place to visit when back at the business centre 500m down the road.Written 19 March 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC.
