"Before doing the coastal walk I recommend that you put on your wet suit and going ‘drifting’ from Bantham Sailing Club down the River Avon and then climb out on the beach once you’ve drifted past the headland.""Continuing past the golf course the track starts it's descent with full views of Burgh Island with its hotel and the river Avon estuary, which was full of surfers on the day we did it."
