We were on holiday close by and attended the aqua fit class and then stayed for the parent and baby/toddler class. What a gorgeous pool. Lovely and warm and brilliant facilities. Definitely worth a visit. Wish we could come regularly!

Amazing!! If I could 10 stars I definitely would!! Kerry and Craig are so friendly and helpful and what an amazing experience getting to meet and learn about the alpacas. These are amazing animals and Kerry and Craig are so well informed and the hats and scarves Kerry makes from scratch are truly beautiful. Also really enjoyed meeting the horses, chickens and sheep - personal highlight was getting a selfie with Luther the sheep.

Went out for a walk around the lagoons in New Cumnock. Lovely walk & is well maintained. The fact the sun was out made it even better. Lovely area steeped in history

This memorial is to commemorate the lost miners that tragically lost there lives in the knockshinnoch mining disaster.
When the pits were flooded by a nearby lake and trapped over 100 miners.
Most were rescued but tragically 13 miners lost there lives.
A film was made about the disaster, called the brave dont cry.
A simple memorial but always remembered.

A small yet unusual memorial dedicated to the new cumnock miners who lost their lives nearby.
It sits next to main road just along from swimming pool and opposite the robert burns statue and I have passed it many times and never noticed it as it's just blends in so well.
The plaques meaningful engraving says "To the memory of New Cumnock mineworkers who lost their lives in the course of duty. Out of Darkness into the light."

This is a nice little statue of Robert burns, it used to stand next to a beautiful mural on the wall but seems to have been painted over recently. Its not as noticable anymore, you could walk by and not know it's there!

This monument is a war memorial in tribute to those of the New Cumnock district who fell in the two world wars. The monument is a traditional cenotaph in the form of a casket, albeit one that is simply decorated, almost austere in its simplicity. There is a poignant dedicatory inscription of a quote from For the Fallen by Laurence Binyon.

Came here for a special morning coffee and cakes to break a journey south. A very smart and popular hotel and spa judging by the number of cars parked and the steady stream of visitors. Some mix up as we didn't seems to be booked in, however we were quite quickly told to find a table and our order taken shortly after. Superb views of the Loch of the Lowes and attractive gardens with fountains, etc. They only supplied coffee by the cup and no cakes, only well presented shortbread. The coffee was very mild for our taste.
