This tour was fantastic! We were picked up from our cruise terminal and had a great day exploring Scotland. We were in a small group of 4 and our driver was awesome. We had plenty of time to explore at each stop and our driver even added a couple of additional stops along the way for us to explore. Our driver didn't narrate the whole way, but he did point out certain sites for us to look at and tried to make our trip fun and memorable.

We had a fantastic trip, and our guide, Cara, was excellent. She was friendly, knowledgeable, and funny, plus she did an amazing job driving us around safely, down some very narrow and winding roads.

The accommodations on the trip were all great, clean, quiet and comfortable. The breakfasts were all excellent too. We had plenty of time to see all the attractions we wanted to see, and even saw a few things we weren't expecting to see. I wouldn't hesitate to book the same tour again.

This trip was the highlight of our entire Scotland vacation! I highly recommend this private tour to anyone looking for a unique and personalized way to explore the area. Me and my wife wanted to get the local perspective on the Scottish country side and not to just see get from one tourist stop to another. Jimmy was our guide for the day he really delivered that and made our experience incredibly enjoyable and stress-free. Even before we met, he was extremely proactive and punctual, calling and texting us with all the pickup details and any tickets we should have booked and ready the day of the trip. He was on time in the morning and did a great job throughout the day with managing our schedule for each stop and accounting for traffic and dropping us off an picking us up at every stop with details on how to avoid any crowds or lines. We felt safe and relaxed at all time with Jimmy driving. As we approached the twisty roads of the Highlands, we also realized how important it is to have an expert driver who knows these roads like the back of his hand. Jimmy knew where to slow down and let the speeding bikes and buses through, and an no point did get aggravated, frustrated or distracted, which made us feel super safe. He was extremely courteous and attentive to our interests and flexible to shifting the schedule and agenda to our desires. We ended up leaving some stops early and instead have a sit down lunch. Jimmy catered to our personal lunch preference and provided a great restaurant recommendation that we thoroughly enjoyed ! That personal touch was invaluable to us and felt so different from any larger group or megabus tours that we took in the past. The private setting also allowed for deeper conversations and a more immersive experience. Jimmy was not only informative but also warm and engaging, making the entire day feel like an adventure with a friend. He also managed to do all this while remaining very professional and proper, letting us nap on the way back and not pryiny, bringing up any controversial topics and minimizing chatter by end of the day,  when everyone was already tired.  Book this trip if you want to maximize what you see in one day and to have a personable and honest guide who cares about making your day special. We would love to come back and take our kids along for a tour with Jimmy next time ! It was an unforgettable experience that we will cherish for years to come!

If you are looking to make the most of your time in Edinburgh and spend time in the Highlands, Iconic Tours should be first on your list. The only decision will be to reach out and book early. As their reviews and reputation suggest, they will be the top choice for others as well. We were fortunate to spend a day and a half with Will, starting with a walking tour of old and new town with the following day dedicated to venturing out to the Central Highlands. Beyond his knowledge of the area, history, and architecture - it was Will's personable nature and love of both whisky and chocolate that was the perfect fit for our small crew. While the purpose of our visit was Six National Rugby, Will and Iconic Tours was the unexpected highlight of the trip.

Andrew is the most entertaining tour guide I’ve ever had the pleasure of having. He tailors his approach on who he is with to ensure engagement and excitement for his guests. My family and I were never bored and very entertained for 10 straight days. If you’re looking for a boring tour guide that puts you to sleep Andrew isn’t your guy. If you want someone that loves what they do and makes every minute exciting then book Andrew. He has become family and can’t wait to book him again.

Had an amazing time on the Highland Perthshire and Whisky Tour! The scenic drive, with iconic sites like the Kelpies, Callander and the Falls of Dochart were highlights. Our guide totally made the experience unforgettable with their in depth knowledge and expertise! A perfect blend of nature, history, and exceptional Scotch whiskies – highly recommended!

Just came back from a wonderful guys' trip to Scotland. The journey became more remarkable because of Andrew. He made our trip extremely comfortable with no rush, stopping wherever we wanted, customizing as needed, and constantly asking for feedback, innovative places, and ideas to make things memorable. He took us to places that regular tourists don't go or know about. He finds his way to facilitate our requirements. His knowledge of Scotland and its history will give a sharp challenge to any historian. He will ensure you have a trip you remember for years to come. Most importantly, his smile and being a wonderful person will give you the comfort of being in good hands and a trip with no worries. I highly recommend taking trips with Andrew as then you are not only just having fun and going for a trip, but also you will be building great memories that will stay for years to come.

Sean was an excellent guide—engaging and informative. He was extremely knowledgeable about the areas and sites we visited, including Stirling Castle, and about Scottish history and culture. He ensured we had adequate time to see what we wanted to see and adjusted the schedule so we had sufficient time for a visit inside Stirling Castle, I would highly recommend this tour to anyone who wants to see a bit of Scotland outside the cities.
