Essential service to make the most of your Beechworth Bright Bike riding experience.
We booked E bikes and transfers with Nigel - seamless and with ideas and tips to take advantage of all there is to see. James gave us a thorough run through of the E bikes and talked us through maps and extra side trips which we were very pleased we did. James was so accommodating in arranging pick up times and transferring our luggage. James was professional, on time and knowledgeable. All that was left for us was to pedal and enjoy - thank you both! We will use your services again.

Tour de North East Victoria- Active Luxury.2-9 May 2022
This was a six night tour, all meals provided. It was fabulous. Weather was mostly sunny so we were lucky. Fun group of people. All accommodation was excellent, and 2 sites in particular were spectacular. Reading a long review from April , I think this was the same tour that preceded ours and I am pleased to say that obvious improvements had been made. I am surprised that a comment in that review was made that alcohol was the consumer's responsibility, as this is what would always be expected. The wine at tastings (and these wineries were well chosen) was of course complimentary
Our tour guide/leader Marcus was a gem and I cannot speak highly enough of him. Most meals were superb and it seemed every effort had been made to make them quite varied. There were a couple of rather ordinary pub dinners but finding restaurants open in small towns is not always possible. We were bussed a long way for the final dinner which was brilliant.
The Murray to mountains rail trail on converted railway routes is fantastic for cycling and the 15km long downhill track from Milawa to Everton (which we did twice) is extremely exhilarating. The distances each day are not great and the tour deserves its easy classification. Most people who are reasonably fit and have done some cycling should handle it quite easily. If in doubt, ebikes are available, as used by 2 of our group of 9. The Autumn colours of tree foliage were exquisite.
We also visited cheese tasting, pumpkin seed and apple produce venues, all very worthwhile and providing some variety.
In summary I can say that if you are fortunate enough to have a trip like ours you will have great and memorable experiences.
The only warning is that there was some confusion from information provided whether this was six or seven nights so please be aware and check itineraries carefully.

I arrived at this tour clearly not knowing the correct ghost tour etiquette. My bad. Our tour guide soon pointed out that silliness was not appropriate and I would be ejected from the tour if I continued making ghost noises and banging things.

I am so glad I was set straight... ghost tours are clearly serious and important business and not to be messed with.

Excellent impression of a dog not letting go of a human bone.

If you want to experience serious ghost tour tension, drama, intrigue, this is great. Probably best to not make ghost noises though. Maybe it scared off the actual ghosts?

I would of given it 5 stars but was disappointed with carrying a body re-enactment. Wasn't as convincing as I would have liked.

I did both the history and the Ned Kelly tours. I loved them. David is extremely knowledgeable and is able to share it in an interesting and engaging way. The sites we visited were excellent. I was surprised that he was able to fit so much into such a short time.

The tour was really interesting and we learnt so much about Ned Kelly and the Kelly gang. Visiting the different places as we discussed them was a plus, since we got to visualise everything. The tour guide, Hollie, was also really cool and kept us all engaged even though she talked for a really long time. This is definitely a must-do if you're visiting Beechworth for the first time, or if you're interested in the Kelly gang and their story.

I hired a bike from the gravel mob for a days ride in the area. The bike was excellent and had no issues at all. Marty was amazingly helpful and knowledgeable about the local area, their website has a wide variety of suggested routes and they were so friendly and happy to help.

A great day out seeing some little gems of wineries that we did not know existed in the region. Each winemaker was lovely and accommodating, we thoroughly enjoyed meeting with, listening to and seeing their passion for their business and the industry. Having food catered for you at each winery is a wonderful touch, more tours should do this!! Thanks Scott and Sal for your knowledge and expertise, you made our visit to Beechworth a memorable one.

Despite the wintry weather we had a a great time cycling from Beechworth to Everton via the Rail Trail. We were cold and soggy when we arrived at the Everton but thawed out with hot chips and hot drinks by the fire. It was our first experience on ebikes, my 14 & 12 year old loved the ease of riding the ebikes back up the hill.
Ride Republic were helpful and easy to deal with. Added bonus- they make great coffee in their cafe at the Gaol

Where beautiful people, nature and holistic therapies combine to bring a deeper sense of heart connection, both to the land, the animals, and my own self.
Could not recommend more highly :)

Dani provides a good range of services in a proficient and professional manner, and at a reasonable cost. I am very happy with her expertise, and appreciate that she doesn't engage in mindnumbing inane small talk. Clearly the previous reviewer would prefer that, instead of acknowledging Dani's competency, and efficient provision of services offered.
