My Sister in law and my Niece her Husband and their child Levi, from Singapore came to stay with us for a few days. Thought we would go to the Mansfield Zoo so little Levi (2 1/2 years old) could have some fun with the kangaroo's. I was very impressed with the setup. We had lunch in the picnic area where the deer and ducks like to dine with you.

Then we walked around, where not only Levi had a ball. We had a deer follow us all around the park, which the kids thought was great. The kids loved feeding and patting the animals.

    Had a great time.

The warm welcome from the friendly staff was a sign of things to come. We sat outside although it was a little chilly. We were rugged up and there was protection from the wind with the walls of the restaurant on 2 sides - the views were just too beautiful to miss being as close to as possible. We ordered the chef’s menu which was a really wonderful bread with fresh herb butter, whitebait, two mains and the best lemon cake I have ever had. The coffeee afterwards was so delicious

Was a really nice place to have lunch and try some beers and cider. They have a great selection of beers that they brew and they have some great artwork on the cans.

This is a typical New England farmer's market. Open 3-6 Saturdays. Local produce, baked goods, dairy, cheese, prepared foods, syrup, honey even some sandwiches, pies, etc. Also some craft items at times. Nice people, easy parking, friendly relaxed atmosphere. It seems to me that in the past, the prices at farmer's markets were lower than national supermarkets. However, I've learned that in NE, they tend to have higher prices - perhaps due to perceived higher quality. Within 4 miles of my house there are 2 CSA outlets, both organic. Often I'll stop at one of these instead of the farmer's market if they have more available than goes to the shares people.

This is a very interesting store with lots of local products.
We called there on a Tuesday but they were closed so we went back the next day.
Some nice items made by locals took our attention.
    Some nice artworks there also.
Definitely worth a visit when your in the area.

Four of us did the 2 day 2 night Howqua Valley ride. The staff were friendly, funny, helpful and caring. The horses were well adapted to the terrain, had great temperaments, well cared for, extremely sure footed, had personality (not just following each other aimlessly). Staff matched the horses to the people based on your needs (i.e. ready to go, or slightly more quiet). You could see the horses were well looked after, healthy and happy. There was lots of opportunities to go for a trot and canter, and less experienced folk were also able to enjoy the ride in a controlled manner. The scenery was stunning around every corner! The accommodation at Howqua valley was cosy and sufficient. We were well fed throughout.

You can tell it is family run company which is very passionate about people enjoying their ride and looking after the horses. I would definitely recommend and would happily come back for another multi-day ride.

Brian delivered an authentic, knowledgeable and awe inspiring 4 wheel drive experience over rugged terrain. Stunning mountain ranges, a short walk to Bindaree Falls, together with a visit to Craig's Hut from the movie "The Man From Snowy River" provided plenty of amazing photo opportunities. Lunch at Razorback Hut with tasty home made Anzac Biscuits/Rock Cakes and hearty sandwiches all part of a genuine Aussie experience made possible through Brian's passion for the region.
    Thank you Brian.

6 days and nearly 700km of tracks & trails through the high country. Extremely challenging driving conditions at times. The expedition was expertly led by Bruce who used a blend of coaching and directing techniques to get us through safely. Professional at all times and a top bloke to boot!

Just finished a 4 day, 3 night ride of the Howqua River. The ride was was awesome yet for myself as a novice horseman a bit difficult in the beginning. Wish I had another day as I felt more confident when cantering on the last day after picking up riding tips over the previous days.

The Hidden Trails team were great. So hard working, hospitable and helpful for the entire trip. Always asking how I was going. Food was also top quality from breakfast to lunch and dinner.

    I would highly recommend.

Thanks Christian, Laura, Katie, Rachel, Gwen, Mat and Sarah

Personable, enjoyable, creative, and active way to get your hands and brain working together. And a bit 'mindful'. Not to mention the delicious lunch and dramatic surrounding scenery. No hesitation in recommending this as a great way to spend a day and explore potentially untapped talent :-). Thanks Wendy!

We went up on one of the balloons as part of the balloon fiesta in Milawa in March. Booking was really easy from their website and when I emailed through a question, Paul responded straight away. Instructions were very clear and we took off from the Brown Brothers' winery which was easy to find in the dark. We had Mitch as our pilot and he was fantastic. Very prompt with the set-up and the landing was so smooth. The whole atmosphere was incredible and we would absolutely do this again.
