Tour guide was super informative. The stops were a good mix, and the views were truly stunning. Would highly recommend.

I highly recommend Smoky Mountain Guides when you are looking for a tour of Smoky Mountain National Park. Their customer service is excellent, even calling us in advance to make arrangements to meet us near our resort where we could leave our vehicle in a safe, free parking lot. They also offered to order lunch for us since our tour would last into the afternoon.

Our guide, Phil, was outstanding. He was friendly, courteous and considerate, doing everything he could to make our tour the best experience possible. He asked us about our interests and then planned our stops accordingly. He was very knowledgeable about the area and the people who lived, worked and developed Cades Cove and he shared with us stories about their amazing lives.

We particularly appreciated that Phil planned a special stop for lunch where we could take in the sights and sounds of a bubbling brook while we enjoyed our meal. He also helped us capture our memories in some amazing photos.

I took the Appalachian Waterfalls Trail Hike with Mark today 10/29/24. I had a fantastic tour and Mark was very accommodating to my needs. The tour overall was roughy about 3 hours long and we had a chance to view the Spruce Flat Falls. Mark was an expert guide and had all the necessities with him- including hiking sticks, water and snacks with a backpack to store any jackets etc. The hike was easy to moderate and we took a few short breaks. Overall it was a fantastic day with great weather and I really enjoyed it! Would highly recommend this company to anyone looking to tour the Smoky Mountains National Park.

We did the bus tour with Mark on a Tuesday morning, and ended up being the only ones on the tour, which was excellent. Mark was very informative and enthusiastic about the area and the heritage. He knows many descendants of the original settlers, so told us of personal accounts handed down within the families.

If you are at all interested in the history of the area, the Heritage Center and the tour are well worth doing. I think there were more informational signs at the Heritage Center than in the whole GSMNP. The museum and grounds admission are included in the tour price. I think they only do the tours on Tuesday and Thursday in the fall. Highly recommend.

We had an amazing family trip to eastern Tennessee, and my wife and 3 teenagers all agreed that the Gratitude Hike with Scott was the BEST part of the trip.

The kids were reluctant to be without cell phones because they love to take photos, but Scott took dozens of beautiful photos for us - both posed and "action" shots.

I won't spoil the surprise, but I will say that there are some great unannounced experiences as part of this hike. We highly recommend it!
