The Museum is part of the City Pass so my husband, adult son and I decided to visit. Loved the various exhibits - most memorable was the King Tut/Egyptian floor, mineral/gem area and the Energy Exhibit on the 4th floor. Plan on a good 3 hours if your group wants to review most areas.

We spent 4-6 hours but you could easily spend multiple days here. So much to see and learn, and just marvel at what was accomplished through the Space program. The kids could see the size of the shuttles used, the size of the engines, it was amazing. It was very crowded and hardly any place to sit and eat, but you can expect that because it is a very popular destination.

It doesn't matter what type of art you like, there is a lot of something for everyone. By far the largest collection of art I have seen in one place. Plan on spending at a minimum a few hours upwards to a full day to get through everything.

Being in the middle of the city, this was a fairly expansive zoo and the animals were very active while we were there with the sunny and 60 degree weather. Glad we visited!

Excellent Shopping experience with a ton of options. It can get overwhelming if you don't know which shops you want to head to as the mall is huge. They have plenty of online directories in the mall to help. Loved the ice skating rink and the 3 story Christmas tree.

We love evrything about Minute Maid, except we both wish the better foods had more locations in the park.

Started using my Museum Membership for MFAH! Love that I can anytime for free. The cafe is excellent as well. Really want to go and try the more upscale eatery for dinner!

For the past five years (with the exception of the crazy lockdown) we have traveled from San Antonio to Houston to enjoy these marvelous performances. They never disappoint.
We look forward to future shows at the new venue.

Amazing place! Wasn’t sure what to expect, but all the exhibit areas were interesting and entertaining. Not “funereal “ at all.

Certainly worth a visit if you have children below ages of I would say like 10. Good selection of activities for kids, most of them were based on concepts of science or technology which is great for kids these days. My child who is 3 years old had a blast in the exhibits and games. They also have a toddler area but I wish they had more sensory activities and other activities for the little ones. You can actually spend more than 4 hours there and as an adult, i found a lot of things entertaining and educational

This collection has many pieces of artwork that we have never seen. You can't take photos in the galleries which may be one reason!

I only visited the butterfly center at the HMNS. I enjoyed it! It was a beautiful setting and very peaceful. the waterfall was a really nice feature. It was an educational experience with lots of great information. The kids seemed to love seeing all the butterflies. There are not so many in there that they land on you a lot like some other Butterfly exhibits I have been to.

it was a great way to spend an hour or so.

    NOTE FOR THE BUTTERFLY CENTER:
There was one attendant I saw touching the butterflies and getting them to move and fly. There seemed to be no compelling reason to touch them other than to 'play' with them. The staff uniforms are pretty non-descript so I didn't realize they were an employee. I told her, " I don't think you are meant to be touching the butterflies," she waved her radio at me to indicate she worked there. She told me, "we just tell the kids that,". I only bring this up as it sets an example for other visitors and kids that see that and think it's OK to do the same. If you don't want people to walk around touching the butterflies, the staff probably should leave them alone too.

I was our first time in Dallas, we truly enjoyed the Livestock and the rodeo shows. We attended competitions on tie down roping, saddle bronc riding, bull riding, also female tie down roping. A must see.

First time I came on my own and it was closed for some reason so second time with the family we entered.

We had to go through security metal detectors and bags inspected. No guns, pepper spray allowed inside.

Admission was reasonable and children 18 or younger were free. Parking was $8.

The free guided tour was already full so we decided to wander around on our own. There was the main Holocaust section, an outdoor memorial, Family Memorial Room and two special exhibits on Human Rights and Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg (RBG).

I was admired RBG and they did a great overview of her life and accomplishments.

No photos were allowed in the permanent Holocaust gallery. Exhibits, photos and artifacts from survivors or their families that came to Houston were informative and a lot of reading. A rail car (similar vintage to ones used to take people to the camps) and even a boat (used in rescues) were installed inside the museum.

One unique exhibit was a virtual conversation with a Holocaust survivor.

A worthwhile museum to visit in Houston.

The guided house tour by Lisa was great, got to visit multiple rooms and see antique furnishings and artwork. The rooms were set up as they had been used by Ima Hogg over the years. Learned some new things that I hadn’t seen in other home tours.

Gardens were nice, the azaleas weren’t blooming as they bloomed earlier in the year but can imagine how beautiful they would be. It made for a nice stroll viewing some of the statues and fountains.
