- lmardoWest Wareham, MA133 contributionsLocated on a large track of farmland. Building were closed for the season but the signage on the various structures and the warm temps made it easy to walk the site. Visit took about 30 minutes. Great space for kids to run and stretch and learn a bit of history.Written 9 November 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - brandasaCenterville, OH1,250 contributionsThis is a whole town that has been left in the 1900's. There is his birthplace, childhood home, and old barn. It was excellent to see - and I really enjoyed it. Just be sure to realize this is more of an old time tour of his childhood and life at the time than it is focused on his presidency. There is a small museum but it didn't cover his presidential campaign or what he really did during his presidency.
Definitely do the guided tour (included in the $10 price). We spent almost 3 hours.Written 5 August 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. The drive is long but beautiful and worth it. It is most definitely worth seeing President Coolidge's Homestead. You can see where he was born, where he took the oath of office, lots of his and his family's artifacts, etc. Be prepared to walk a lot and be here for hours. The President's grave is seconds away.Written 8 October 2021This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- Dan H1 contributionThere is a reason we travel 10 hours from Ohio to use Snowmobile Vermont. What a great experience with an awesome staff. The whole experience is first rate. The machines are well kept and newer, the trails are awesome and the scenery is breathtaking. We are repeat customers and will continue to be due to the great experiences we have had with them. Highly recommend.Written 30 January 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- Malcolm CWoburn, MA20 contributionsThe lean to and fire pit were simple and perfect to spend 4th of July weekend with Dad. Nothing fancy, just a campsite in the wilderness, but it was awesome to get away for a bit.
PROS: Unspoiled, uncrowded, beautiful surroundings, firewood for sale, hot and modern quarter-operated pay shower with great water pressure. A few sites with stellar mountain views. Well-built stone fire pits with grills.
CONS: WiFi only at the ranger station (this is a plus if you want to unplug for a while), no camp store or swimming on site. But your reservation gets you admission to swimming 15 mins away at Plymouth Park.
The campground included the ranger station with maps and firewood for sale. One loop with lean to sites and another with tent sites. Definitely NOT an RV campground.
If you need WiFi, a camp store, or a place to park your RV, Coolidge State Park isn’t for you, but if you’re looking for a back to nature getaway to set up a tent, toast a few marshmallows and cook on a grill, this is just what the doctor ordered.Written 12 July 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Many varieties to choose from and the man behind the counter knew all bout the processing and taste differences,Written 9 November 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC.
