One of the best places in the whole planet. One smaller part of the park is made of rocks, the biggest part is all dunes and amazing beaches. Just impossible to be missed!

Fabulous stretch of clean sand and crystal clear sea well deserving its blue flag status. This is one of the best beaches we have ever visited however the sunbeds and umbrellas which makes the beach accessible for all ages have been removed. We are two relatively fit 60 odd year olds but we have to say having no sunbeds or brollies was a real problem. Laying down on the sand is not really an option for us. We travelled as a family and with a toddler. Carrying beach chairs, parasols, water, toddler etc etc was exhausting and had we known about the lack of facilities we probably wouldn't have booked this holiday.
We cannot understand why they have removed. There is a wooden walk way with a covered area at the end for wheelchair access and a little supermarket twixt the two hotels. There is lifeguard supervision which is essential as the currents are strong here. You cannot swim when red flags are showing and only with care when the yellow flags are flying.
This is a stunning beach but has NO facilities and this truly makes a difference.

We visited this water park twice during our stay in Fuerteventura as we had unlimited access included with our hotel.

We visited in September so no issues with queues or large crowds but I can see this being an issue in the height of the summer holidays as the park is not that big and doesn’t have too many slides so I would imagine the queues getting quite long.

No huge thrill slides so would say this park is definitely best suited for families with children but there’s definitely fun to be had for adults too.

We only stayed for 3 hours max both times and think the standard entrances price is a bit steep considering the amount of attractions that are there.

All of the staff were very helpful and friendly!

Did not eat here so cannot comment on the food.

We did have a great time and would probably return if we had the access included within our package again but would not pay the entrance fee for the sake of a few hours.

Take a walk around to this interesting location, crazy popcorn beach.
The sea is crystal blue and the views around the coast of Corralejo are stunning.
This beach isn’t really accessible for swimming though.
    Nice to sit and chill.

Fuerte Bootcamp strikes the perfect balance between sessions of workout, and time to rest and enjoy your stay in this beautiful island.

The team, Ausgustin and Kristine, are well organised and you feel taken care of.
It is a great week to take time for yourself, the activities are fun, and there is always an option regarding your level of fitness when we workout.Indoor and Outdoor activities but also time to chill and recover.
Loved the food, super healthy, and the way the week is set. Could really attract all type of levels and person with a great atmosphere and environement.
A must do for a week! a real gift to yourself!

Gabriele is an excellent coach. Extremely knowledgeable and enthusiastic, skilled at identifying where work needs to be done on your game. Great fun, but with rapid improvements to your game. A thoroughly enjoyable experience no matter what your standard. Speaks plenty of different languages too!

A final word about the price. Gabriele could easily charge double the hourly rates and would still be the best value for money. I don't think his low prices can be beaten, especially given the level of expertise he provides.

Montaña Roja (Red Mountain) is a dormant volcano which stands 312 metres above sea level in  Natural Park of Corralejo. It is situated along the FV1 roadway between Corralejo and Parque Holandes, closer to the latter.

It is known as Red Mountain due the deep red layers of rock and stone, interspersed with green rocks. The shade of colours did change depending upon the weather, when sunny it was vibrant and loud. When cloudy the colours changed to dark and almost moody.

We thought that due to the formation towards the base of the mountain resembled a prehistoric animals foot.

During our five week holiday, on Fuerteventura, we were regular travellers up and down the road passing here. The mountain became like a welcoming old friend.

We did enquire about pathways and walks on the mountain. We were informed that a pathway starts from Villaverde and is about 8 kilometres (5 miles) long. it is considered to be a bit  arduous and more suited for  experienced walkers. Needless to say we gave it a miss and continued to admire the mountain from the roadside and driving by.

Lots of free guides, etc. here, including an excellent street map, but check opening times. Ask one of the staff to mark the stops to catch the No 8 bus to El Cotillo which is well worth a day out.

Had a great burger here, you know when it’s good when they ask how you like your meat cooked. Only fault with this restaurant is to not take booking, we had to sit on the side of the restaurant because front of house tables all reserved and in the 2 hours we where there they stayed empty and turned loads of people away, a total waste. But really good food served.

Visited Isla Lobos with Noviera Nortours' ferry 'Majoero'. Booked through TripAdvisor and so glad we did. Arrive 20 mins before, the ferry is at the far end of the harbour near where the large Olson cruise ship moors. Relaxed and friendly crew, glass bottom to view the marine life, space on deck or in covered seating area.
We stayed on the island for 3 hrs which was perfect for a bit of sunbathing and snorkeling in the calm waters of the lagoon.
On the return trip we managed to sit on the bow seats and we were warned that we would get wet - that was no understatement! The spray from the bow hitting the waves absolutely soaked us and it was so much fun!!!! I'm sure the Captain was hitting the waves on purpose for the effect! We were all laughing and cheering the whole way back, it was a great way to finish a lovely day. Don't miss a trip to Isla Lobos with these guys.
