We found a shady spot about 2pm on a Saturday. There were plenty of chairs inside, air conditioned, but we set up the chairs we brought outside. I asked the man behind the counter if I could move one of the tables outside into our area and he obliged. I put it back when we left.

None of our group are wine snobs we had 4 flights and with a few duplicates sampled 12-15 varieties.
My SIL commented on her first sip that the wine was "thick" which I find rare in WI wines which usually seem watery to me. Anytime water is removed the remaining wine will intensify in flavor. It's like reducing a sauce.

I tried the cab variety which I think would go well with a steak. I liked the Lime wine, would definitely use it to cook with too. Paired with chicken or fish prepared with a sauce made from it too will be a treat.

I've got similar comments regarding the blackberry and mango blends. Both of these hit it out of the park if you want the fruit mentioned on the bottle to be the taste that finishes on your palate. Bold flavors that will make your next sangria a hit. Either paired with a fruit plate would make a scrumptious dessert.

I have changed my mind about WI wineries. This one is a hit. And close to home to.

    We're going back.

We have been coming to Raised Grain for quite a while, but never had the chance to go on a tour of the brewery until now. This is one of the best tours we have ever been on. Erin, our tour guide, was super friendly and knowledgeable. She took us up to the brew deck and explained the Raised Grain brewing process. The automation in this brewery is beyond compare allowing the brewers to be consistent batch after batch. Then a walk past the grain room, a sample of a special Amber, and on through the row of temperature-controlled fermenters. Next, a look at a large number of bourbon barrels ageing very special beers, some dating back several years! On to the racks of cans and labels and a look at the canning line. Another sample and a look through the cooler where thousands of cans and kegs were stored. The tour ended up with a sample of Lions Claw IPA and a special sample of Doktoberfest, my wife's favorite this time of the year. Erin was fantastic, answered all of our questions and we thoroughly enjoyed spending time with her. We each got a Raised Grain glass to remember the tour by. Don't miss out on seeing this super clean and efficient brewery! It is well worth the price of admission. And while you are there, be sure to try the garlic bread and the R G Sliders!

I went with a group of friends to the park, and we had a BLAST. It was so fun. The slides were great, the hot tub was AMAXING (thank you for taking down the 16 year old thing) and yeah, it was awsome! However.... when we went to order food, we setled on two sodas and a box of fries. So, not that much. There were five of us girls, and we waited there 15 muinuts. Nothing. My friend asked if they forgot our order, and they did. So they put it up. Another 30 muinuts later, WE STILL DIDN'T HAVE OUR FOOD! Other people were coming and going with large trays of food and we were standing ther. Dying of hunger. We asked again, and they had horible customer service. They were clearly anoyed with us. We just wanted a box of fries! After about 45 minuts we finaly got one wimpy box of fries. They were good, but we had just waisted 45 muinuts standing there.

Another great Waukesha County park with the Fox River as its main water attraction. Several microclimates (wetlands, mature forest, in one large, easy to walk park. Every season is unique and wonderful. Bring your camera!

Something for every season for you and your furry friends. Walk, hike, snowshoe, nordic ski, bike, play soccer, picnic and more, all in well maintained and marked areas. Wear your pup out in the dog park with areas designated for large or small breeds. Minooka Park is a regular hiking space for us, with friendly visitors, engaging staff, and a great place to trail train your pup.

I've been going to the Waukesha Farmer's Market for a few years now and have certain vendors I enjoy coming back to. It's a nice venue. Places to park near enough within a block or two, so it is a nice walk there and back. Love the flowers, love the corn on the cob, and the variety of cheeses and vegetables!

The Nature Center, the children's play area, endless photo venues and varied terrain invite us to come for many reasons, Homecoming photos, a hike, winter sports. The special events are consistently good and well managed. Check it out!

The museum is quite small, on one side is the history of Waukesha and the other side is an exhibit of Les Paul. The Les Paul exhibit is nice showing the history of his life. The other side show Waukesha with artifacts on display and clearly written labels. The staff (very friendly) said there were more artifacts locked downstairs but not for public viewing. From the outside we thought the museum was much bigger but it only occupies a small portion of the old courthouse. One side of the building are luxury apartments and the second and third floors are for wedding venues.

In summary, it is interesting, not a lot to see, and you can see everything in an hour.

I attended a program with my daughter and another scout from our brownie troop on scout night. The girls loved the program! The instructor was very patient with all the girls and gave great information that was tailored for their age and interests. Everything was clean and well organized. Thanks for a budget-friendly and fun outing!

    Les paul.. Buell

Other than that nothing to note worthy.
Les pauls site was disapointing as it appears as though he was buried in three middle of a road.. just strange imho.

This is a nice, cozy, little theatre with great shows for the family. We saw Elf and the kids enjoyed the performance.
