    Good trip!
    The tour was definitely cool! We did not get to see lava flow which was ok. We would have liked to go around the tops of the mountains, which we did not do.

    Amazing experience, great tour guide Brett

    Great Day at VNP!
    I reserved this excursion for part of my group that was traveling with me, and they stated it was an excellent day and that they enjoyed it so much. They said the restaurant where they went for lunch was fantastic and the pictures that they shared with me was beautiful. They also stated that they had a great guide (sorry I didn't get the guides name). Thank you for helping to make my travelers experience in Hawaii great!

    Big Island Circle Tour
    Had an amazing time. David and Chris did a fantastic job explaining the history of the island. Both were very knowledgeable about Hawaii’s history and it’s people. I couldn’t recommend this tour enough, especially if you can get David or Chris. They were remarkable tour guides!

    Excellent
    Circumstances were just perfect and so was Jonas, our guide. Knowledge, communication skills, humor, driving competence, all added to the weather conditions with a clear night, a breathtaking sunset, plus the good food - it exceeded my expectations by far. Still flashed from the trip!

    Worth it great experience
    Great trip learned a lot about Hawaii and the Volcanoes from Kaylon. My wife was worried about about the bike trip, but the E-bikes were excellent being in our 60’s it didn’t bother us doing about 16 miles great trip

    First our tour guide, Jill was amazing! She picked us up from the harbor and our group of 11 was off to the Volcano National Park. We first stopped at a waterfall when it started to rain, that woul be with us through most of the day. Jill was prepared with umbrellas for us. While driving she regaled us with stories of her childhood growing up on the big island with volcano at her back door and the various eruptions through the years. There were several stops on the trip, but by far the most exciting was seeing the volcano and its lava flow. She had a telescope and binoculars to show us the flow. There was a medium amount of walking so where good shoes for the rain. The trip was about 5-6 hours and was really well worth it. Gladly take it again.

    Fantastic Tour! Great Pilot!
    We did the lava and rainforest Helicopter tour on May 10 and had an amazing experience! Paradise's communication was clear throughout the whole process. As for the tour itself, we saw a lot of the island (housing developments, farms, forests, waterfalls, and of course volcano national park). Alan, our pilot, was very informative and told us stories and information about everything we flew above. He would make sure both sides of the helicopter got a clear view of all the cool sights. On the day we went, we were fortunate enough to see flowing, red lava, which was very cool! We highly recommend.

    Do it!
    This was so much fun, our guides were so calm and helpful it made the entire experience that much better. Got to meet some really cool fellow travelers too!! Definitely worth it

    Perfect trip from Hilo! Professional experienced company
    So grateful for this tour! Hunter was absolutely amazing and incredibly knowledgeable. My friend and I booked very last minute and we are so glad we did highly recommend this tour from Hilo. Timing was perfect. Highlight of the tour was seeing the volcanic lava lake. The company provided jackets, snacks, and water bottles. Don’t hesitate to book this tour. The company is highly experienced, very professional, and timely.

    Gotta do it at least once
    So worth it. Just coincidence that we booked this months ago, before the Manual Loa eruption. Allen is a great pilot. I will say the front row is NOT a 3 seater. My right arm and shoulder were hanging out and had a very hard time maneuvering my phone for pictures. The eruption took the time that would have been allocated to the rain forest viewing. Fair trade. Word to the wise… heed the notice about dressing warm for doors off flight, especially since it started raining up there. (Again, arm and shoulder hanging outside the cockpit.) Would do it again though.

    We enjoyed the excursion and driver most knowledgeable and experienced. We really liked the cave under the crater and seeing the immensity of the eruptions and the lava. Lunch was good and fresh. Could have maybe included a fruit or dessert with the package. Wished we didn't have rain that day but we were all soaked well so photographing was not the best with clouds, etc. He did stop for us to buy ponchos which was a real plus and at a most reasonable price. Felt safe on the road.

    Very beautiful and astonishing place to spend a couple of hours. Not crowed, clear but cold water. Waterfall is really nice.

    Magical Experience
    We were looking for a last minute Mauna Kea tour out of Hilo, and Arnott’s was a great choice!

    We didn’t go during an ideal time for stargazing (almost a full moon, weather wasn’t fantastic and there was a little volcanic fog), but Andras was a fantastic tour guide and made the most of it; he was extremely knowledgeable. Since there weren’t many visible stars (though he did have a telescope and a laser pointer for the ones we did see), there was a lot of focus on the Mauna Loa eruption; we got to see magical views of the lava as well as the sunset and moon rising.

    Note that you do have to bring your own warm clothing/snacks! Several people on our tour weren’t prepared for sub-freezing weather.

    Great experience and very knowledgeable guides
    Met all expectations - Got to see the planets, stars and Galaxies. Plan your trip so close to a new moon for better experience and you get to see the milky way band as well
