What travellers are saying
- Joseph RobbaCharlotte, NC2,075 contributionsMatsumoto's is the reason you stop here, as they have the best shaved ice on all of Oahu, possibly all of Hawaii. There are a few shops here as well, but my main issue is there really are no places to sit with your shaved ice, nor are there truly any places to take cover from the elements. We got caught here during a torrential rain covering all of Oahu, and there were few places to be able to seek shelter from the rain here...Written 28 December 2021This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- gschleifferEstero, FL1,374 contributionsThis guy is good. His pictures were amazing. They had a video going on that featured Clark talking about his art. It was obvious that he was not at the gallery. The girls working were giggling, texting etc, playing with the security guard etc. not paying attention to anyone that walked him. He needs new staff but his pictures are awesome.Written 3 December 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- KaPai45Dunedin, New Zealand57 contributionsGot a bit tired of art looking like my kids highschool folios, so this gallery was refreshing, with plenty of variety and great quality stuffWritten 9 May 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- RoslynLas Cruces, NM215 contributionsOn Thursday afternoons the locals set up a market at the entrance to Waimea Valley botanical garden/falls. We emerged from the hike/swim ready to eat. Plenty of variety to choose from, live music, open seating, everyone relaxed and enjoying life. Farm produce and crafts also for sale. We spent $11 total for light fresh lunch, bought a few gifts and were on our way to the next thing. If you’re going to hike the falls, do it on a Thursday and time yourself to end around 2 pm when the market opens.Written 27 May 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- Mike PAnchorage, AK1,543 contributionsAnchored by the iconic Matsumoro's Store, this shopping area has several small, "mom and pop" style stores offering, clothing, souvenirs, jewlery, coffee, groceries and more.Written 25 February 2020This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- Cindy MPuerto Vallarta, Mexico25 contributionsI wish I had arrived last Saturday, because I could have done some of my grocery shopping for the week at this little local farmers market. There is a genre at jeweler from whom I bought several gifts for friends and family, because the earrings were so cute and the prices were so great. There was also a photographer with a wide selection of prints to choose, also priced reasonably. There were a few actual producer dealers, a driftwood artist and a double handful of other options. So glad we stopped by.Written 30 July 2016This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- gschleifferEstero, FL1,374 contributionsI was treated by a very nice lady when I walked in. The art was very cool I really liked the Artist that depicted bright colors and hippy type scenes. Asian name but cannot remember. Lots of very cool carved surf board art etc. worth stopping in.Written 3 December 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.

- CrystalPystal33Fort Myers, FL21 contributionsWe knew as soon as we booked our flights we had to have surf lessons in the North Shore. I’m so glad we found Liam’s shop! He was so easy to work with. Our instructor was Josh and he was amazing! He was so patient and encouraging. Every time my husband or I would take our turn to try to catch our wave Josh was there instructing us and cheering us on! He is full of personality and we loved hearing his stories about growing up in Hawaii. He made us both very comfortable from the beginning! If you want the real deal call North Shore Surf Shop and ask for Josh. :)Written 23 March 2021This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- cmdisneyOffenburg, Germany280 contributionsStopped here on our way out of Haleiwa. Great spot to pick up some yummy macadamia nuts in lots of flavors. Also grabbed a bottle of their macadamia chili oil to bring back home. Lots of cute gifts and a great family run business.Written 24 May 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- Rachel H1 contributionI am loving my newest Pakaloha bikini and can't wait to go back for more! There are so many cute prints and styles, and the fabric is soooo soft and durable. I get the best of both worlds -- a super cute, teeny, cheeky bikini, and the confidence that I can play in the sand or water without it sliding all over the place. Nadia was so helpful and patient with me. The store always has great people and great energy!Written 12 August 2021This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- Beth BAdams, MA11 contributionsGrew up loving Snoopy and was so excited to find the world's only Snoopy Surf Shop. Girls were great - told me it took them 2 years to get the license for their Snoopy apparel. Definitely felt the Aloha spirit in the store.Written 18 January 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
