There were plenty of books to go around. The remote was easy to use to plug in the numbers. We got two mikes. The cocktail prices are a bit expensive. I stuck with a beer, which went for the average $7. Cocktails were $12-$14. Crazy. The system is easy to use which isn't true of every spot in the city. And they let you order outside food. The only critique I have is the brands of "premium" liquor that they had were not what I consider premium and there weren't many options so we settled for something we don't normally drink. We went on a Saturday night and it was surprisingly fairly empty so we had range when we came out of the suite to continue with our party, but had to pay for the song requests $1. This is the type of venue that makes going out in NYC so great. You’ll have a blast there even if you don’t like to sing. Drinks were on point and there is also food available which we enjoyed as well. It was easy to reserve a spot. Call and tell them what time you need (2hr minimum for reservations) and how many people and you are set.
We arrived 15 minutes early and since the room was available, got started early. The host was helpful in explaining how to use the iPad remote and how to search for songs on the pad and the books.
As usual with people belting their hearts out to songs of their youth, the two hours flew by and the host gave us a 10 minute warning. Nice in case your group has a few must sing songs left.
The place has wifi so when you're waiting your turn you can do quick song research or upload embarrassing renditions of your friends' singing online. Clean bathrooms, comfortable couch, easy to order drinks and snacks.
Tip: Bring your own food! Don't let this feature go to waste. We brought in an entire pizza. There were five of us and we got a pretty cheap private room with beer, shots and a pitcher of water. They checked on us every hour to see if we wanted to continue using the room and they were always available if we needed more drinks, etc. This was my first time doing karaoke and it was my understanding that this place was quite cheap compared to others in the area. - SCCSLondon, UK166 contributionsBooked a room for 2 hours, and not that I can compare it to any other karaoke place in NYC as this is the only place I've been to in America, as a Londoner I thought the prices were decent and much cheaper than London, disregarding any food or drinks. We phoned to book, and the lady who answered had limited English and we kind of struggled with the conversation, but managed to get the correct time and date, so all good!
There is a spacious bar outside the rooms, and rooms can cater from 2 people up to large groups. Thank you sooo much for the best Time ever, I planned a surprise party for my boyfriend and they made everything so easy and perfect for me, everybody had so much and didn't stop telling me about how good the place was. Thank you to you all for making this a great and fun night for the free shots, attention, decoration and the food.

The original rate 18 dollars per person for two hours total, but at the end it was 37 dollars each person. We only had a beer each so I know it wasn't the drinks. When I brought it up to them, they lowered the check but only a little like it was some negotiation? Then they refused to give us an itemized receipt. Almost ruined our night. - R D66 contributionsThis is a unique venue offering all-night karaoke in a bar where almost all of the seating is sofas and padded stools. The drink prices are reasonable and the atmosphere welcoming with everyone mucking in together, singing along and chatting and generally having a great time.
You have to pay $2 per karaoke song you put in for but when the drinks are well priced this is not an issue and they have the largest collection of songs available that I have ever seen at any karaoke venue – there was literally no song I thought of potentially singing that I could not find in the book!! They also have great karaoke rooms within the bar that blocks out all of the outside noise. Really really ridiculously extensive selection of songs listed in big books by artist and song name.
