    A MUST do in NYC for any photo enthusiast
    Fantastic experience! Bruce K. is an expert arquitecture photographer and his advice was priceless, it turned out to be just my husband and I on the tour, so it was amazing to receive advice from such a talented photographer one on one. His work has been featured in many magazines and he was super generous sharing his knowledge with us. We well be doing more of this tours in the future when we return to NYC. This was one of the most enjoyable activities of our trip.

    Book this you won’t regret it!
    Incredible experience for anyone! My daughter & I signed up for this class. What a great bonding experience & a way to let her express her creativity & develop more skills. We ended up with a masterpiece to take home & treasure memories for a lifetime. One of the best parts of our trip to NYC. Then we walked down & did some thrift shopping & ate the best Mexican food as we checked out graffiti along the way.

    Fab shoot for a 50th birthday
    Had a rooftop Photoshoot with Macky on our recent trip to NYC from the Uk for my 50th birthday, and have to say it was brilliant! It was my myself, my wife, my 25yo daughter & her partner in our group.
    From the first point of contact we made with him he was super friendly, making sure we were made to feel comfortable and welcomed.
    His attention to detail was exemplary on all our shots, making sure every thing was as it should be in front of the lens. We had a great time with him on the rooftop on a crisp winters day & thoroughly enjoyed our time. The photos we received were amazing and we’re currently in the process of getting one or two displayed on our wall at home back in the UK.
    A fantastic treat & memory for my 50th birthday, thanks Macky!

    NYC WTC and Ground Zero
    Zim was an amazing guide and mentor. She customized our experience to our skill level, likes and desires. Zim is a no holds barred instructor that isn’t afraid to tell you that you followed instructions or that you didn’t. We look forward to booking another safari with her.

    Must Try
    Loved the class our instructor was very engaging and SUPER patient especially since it was my 1st time (my wife picked it up right away). The place that was picked was loud but small and not busy so we didn’t feel like everyone was staring at us. Highly recommended!!! We thoroughly enjoyed the experience!!!

    Unique, Fun, and Informative!
    I am a professional musician. During Covid shutdowns I concentrated more on home recording and making videos to put up on social media. This soon blossomed into a full-fledged interest into improving my photography skills. Picture the City was a fun afternoon excursion that combined a tour of my favorite metropolis and useful/easily applicable photography tips. I learned some new things, got some great shots for a video, and had a fun afternoon. Pilar is engaging, knowledgeable, and absolutely a delight. Whether you are a skilled photographer or just looking for a unique way to tour Manhattan, I highly recommend Picture the City. “

    Thoroughly enjoyable
    My wife and I were looking for something a bit different to do during our trip to NYC and this was perfect. We thought Leaf was a brilliant tutor, clearly very authentic and knowledgable, and we loved learning graffiti art from an expert. We can't wait to display our work at home. Highly recommend!
