I enjoyed the tour. This was partly due to the knowledge of our Tour Guide, Helena Zinszner. My family gained an enormous amount of knowledge by taking this tour in NY

Tickets for the tour are limited to 25 per session (2 per day) and are available online at midnight EST on Sunday for the following week. Tickets are free. Our tour guide was extremely knowledgeable and took us to places in the library that aren't open to visitors who aren't part of the tour. The Rose Reading Room, the DeWitt Wallace Periodical Room with its beautiful murals, the McGraw Rotunda, and the Bill Blass Catalog Room were all part of the behind the scenes tour. No matter how you visit, be sure to look up. The ceilings are spectacular.
The gift shop has a vast array of gifts that are reasonably priced.

9/11 Museum Workshop was so unlike any museum experience I’ve had. I have been to many museums in Amsterdam and Paris however this museum falls into its own category. You have to go there and experience it to fully understand. However, I walked away feeling as though I had experienced what it was like to work at the world trade center after the September 11 attacks. The audio guide narration by the official Photographer is so heartfelt, along with the sound effects, that I could truly feel the emotions of being there. I am happy I was given the recommendation to visit here. I will carry this experience, the sights sounds and stories for the rest of my life.

If you are interested in aircraft carriers, aeroplanes and spacecraft, you certainly won't be disappointed - the museum features a wide range of historic aircraft and fascinating exhibits on the history of the USS Intrepid itself. The Space Shuttle Pavilion is also great, with the two minor complaints that it's difficult to get a good picture of the Shuttle and you're required to stand in line to have a photo taken before going in (which you then have the option to buy on the way out - I wasn't interested).

This museum is quite unique. Relatively small permanent collection with a couple of temporary exhibits on top. The art on display is very beautiful and the building is amazing.

Went on a date to the city with my girlfriend, and this was a great museum experience! Not only was able to learn the history behind at all but also, they had great artifacts as well as activities throughout the museum. There was never a dull moment while we were there in plenty of a picture opportunities, as well as prize-winning opportunities, which made it all so much fun. My girlfriend said she has been there three times and every time was a different experience immersive and so exciting and we both cannot wait until we return. Thank you so much for a great experience!

Easy to find. Had a sightseeing pass that allowed us entry.

Plenty on people from around the globe. Room of presidents and world leaders from the past.

This was my second visit and was still shaken by the experience. I researched my grandmothers entrance here in 1923. The staff was somewhat rude but I not let that deter me. I found what I needed. There is a charge to search which I believe should be free!

A stunning landmark of NYC and Jewish history. Highly recommend. Our tour guide Susan was remarkable in her knowledge and openness to questions and remarks from all ages in our large tour group. I plan to take advantage of the synagogue's other cultural events as well.

You get to experience years of history here with the museum's exhibits, collections and films. We saw the "I'll have what she's having...the Jewish Deli" exhibit and enjoyed the experience. It showed how Jewish delicatessens became a cornerstone of American food.

While tickets are a bit pricey, the overall experience was super fun. The SPYSCAPE museum offers some games you can do at home in advance of the visit, and the Batman experience has a section to play in advance of your visit and hours more of playtime for after your visit. The games may be a bit frustrating for younger children, but all-in-all it was fun to challenge myself to do well and to beat my friend. I would definitely be open to visiting again. I advise against getting VIP tickets - they are expensive and unless you want the nice baseball hat that comes with it. The bracelet that comes with VIP tickets is not worth the money.

It's only one floor, but offers some great insight into the First Nations who lived on Manhattan, their culture, and how they contributed to New York City.

We visited Nov 2019, but Trip Advisor app won’t let me go back that far.
Important museum to visit; we went due to the Auschwitz exhibit, but also visited the museum itself. I signed up for emails from the Museum and have attended virtual events. I am not local, so I appreciate being able to attend virtually.
So much to learn and the museum store has a lot to offer. We will definitely be back here when back to New York.
If you can, you should visit and bring others. If not, ‘like’ their Facebook page, check out their website, and sign up for emails. There are virtual evens you will most likely be able to attend.

Saw "Elizabeth Haines: Along her own lines" exhibit. It was a contemporary view of style. Elizabeth was also an author and activist who encouraged women to dress in an open- minded way.
