Really fun! Super intense, this is the most immersive escape room I’ve ever played and I've done soo many at this point. This has to be my favorite location. John our game master was soooo helpful and we wouldn’t have made it out with his help! Definitely going again!

Amanda was the staff member who helped and she was amazing. I did "The Home" themed room and it was very fun and challenging. Definitely worth the price. Great time!

We chose the Carbon game as a teambuilding activity. Our game host was very informative, friendly, and collaborative. The puzzles were HARD! They were fun, but we definitely needed some hints to solve all of the challenges. We definitely recommend asking for hints when you get stuck. Really wonderful time, recommend highly!

SO MUCH FUN! My family loves escape rooms and we have done A LOT. This was definitely one of the best spots we have been - and my girls are 11 and 13. WE ESCAPED! We did Sugar Rush and it was great - challenging but not impossible. We all enjoyed! If you are looking for something to dofor an hour that uses your brain, promotes teamwork, and thoughtful problem-solving, then definitely visit Exit Escape Room. We are already planning ournext visit....

I did the nuclear annihilation room with my friends. The set up of the room is very nice and the puzzles were really fun to solve, although we weren’t able to escape successfully (I think the one hour time limit might be too short but it certainly didn’t ruin the fun!) The staff was very friendly and helpful throughout the experience. Definitely would come again!!

Great experience! We enjoyed playing the online game . I enjoyed these puzzles because they were innovative and challenging. The interface worked well and we were able to easily join two other players in different locations. I highly recommend it

Fun, fabulous, challenging, and cheerfully scary, with lots of extra features, including that the setting when you emerge from the 3rd floor elevator appears as a dark and abandoned old hotel corridor. The host or hosts remain hidden until the end, and so guests are confronted with dramatic and disorienting doorways, and little dark rooms, with holes in broken ceilings, and torn wallpaper. It all feels safe, and reliable, but like a Halloween set gone awry, with clues and details about a horrible murderer and his victim!! I’m hopeless at Escape Room logic, but my children and wife adore it, and they bustled around testing impossibly complex clues, and eventually opening one sealed door after another, and everyone came away proud of their accomplishments. If you like to be challenged, and scared, it’s the best Escape Room we gave encountered.

YAS. YAS. YAS. Komnata Quest Manhattan, if I was to name one company as my all time favorite escape rooms, there is no question Komnata Quest is at the very top of my list. Their attention to detail, mixed with immersive and lively atmospheres makes for the best Escape Rooms any fanatic could wish for. But for an actual review I will now review each room the Manhattan location has, in a non ranked fashion.

    - Sherlocked(Personal Favorite): Done in 58 mins. This is easily the ultimate escape room, with set design that sustains, but does not overpower, and a linear timeline of puzzles like no other. For the escape room and Sherlock enthusiasts, I recommend this room in every way possible. And no, it is not like all other Sherlock rooms.
    - Cursed: Done in 56 mins. I am not lying when I say this, Cursed is the scariest out of all the rooms I have ever done, and that number goes above one hundred. But in all it’s terror, it still maintains simple, yet ingenious physical challenges, and has a story like I’ve never seen before. I do give a hard warning for this room as it could be seen as upsetting(as it flirts with death) yet the longer you are in there, the more and more familiar you become to the space, even if there is a jump scare here or there.
    - Haikana: Done in 59 mins. Okay, if you want Mystical, if you want Creepy, if you want whatever the heck fantastical kinda stuff Haikana is, you got it. Haikana is the only room that, categorized with mazes, is actually able to pull off the hard aspect of: a) contorting reality and b) allowing you to lose a sense of time and placement. Haikana does such a beautiful and mysterious way of setting up a story line, and by bringing in puzzles in the faintest, yet most challenging of ways. And even if it is considered to be a beginner level, you will get lost in the haunting atmosphere of the Haikana Maze.
    - Vault: Done in 44 mins. Having loved all the fallout versions the game has set out, the Vault is one of few escape rooms that, when based off a video game, can really immerse you in that setting. The Vault was able to provide a sense of a very clear outline of tasks, while both lightly hinting towards Fallout references, and straight up pulling in animatronics. It really does do a beautiful job of bringing in the idea of levels that a video game has, and therefore its set is able to perfectly compliment the video-game style.

Overall, Komnata Quest Manhattan, is one of the few locations that can bring in several different themes, while still creating much more than decent rooms. Thank you guys, genuinely, and I implore everyone to try each and everyone of these games. As they are not only safe and welcoming, but are the best example for a Emma building exercise.

I’ve been to two other Escape rooms in NYC and countless in other cities. Clue Lou was our clue master and his energy was contagious. The team had a great time and got out with 1 second left! Not sure what options they have as this was a work outing that was a surprise for those that attended.

    Good times all around.

My 10 year old child had a birthday party there. She said it was the best birthday party she ever had! The staff was all really nice. Great for big events or just for something to do on a weekend. I would totally recommend going there.

Me and my fiance booked a slot online for 9pm. Entrance is next to a church and you can arrive a bit early to get settled, used the bathroom, and be briefed. After being briefed, you are led to a huge room filled with different puzzles to retrieve the key and escape. Although the room itself wasn't decorated, there was a lot to do. Everything made sense and we were kept busy throughout the whole time. Best part about this place is that they are private bookings so you are never paired with strangers. We escaped with 5 minutes to spare and we got to take home a certificate for escaping the room! Try this escape room out and you will not be disappointed!

This is an excellent and fun escape room! The puzzles were intricate and challenging. The entire room was very well done and made for an excited hour and a half. I highly recommend to anyone who enjoys this kind of challenge!

We did The Penitentiary which is the hardest of their three rooms and even though we didn’t quite make it out we still had a blast while doing it! I’m very excited to come back and try their other two rooms!

This was our first escape room experience and it sure was fun. Got a Groupon for my wife and I and we chose The Bank Heist. After getting instructions and meeting our fellow team members we jumped in and robbed the bank. The staff said the room has a 15% success rate and we finished with 10 minutes left!
