    AMAZING experience!
    AMAZING experience with Narwhal Yacht Charters! Beautiful views, incredible boat and an awesome captain that knows everything there is to know about sailing. Eric gave me and my friends a wonderful memory that we will remember forever! If you are looking for a luxury sailing experience with city views THIS IS THE BOAT!

    Magical experience
    We had a small wedding ceremony on the Trident with Captain Paul and his wonderful crew.
    To say they exceeded our expectations is an understatement. From the initial booking through answering any questions to the trip itself, everything was seamless. I couldn't recommend this higher. We had the ceremony on the upper deck with Lady Liberty over our shoulder and Captain Paul maneuvered The Trident just so for us to get the perfect shot. Thank you again fro a magical day.

    Captain Mike is MAGIC!!
    This boat ride around Manhattan with Captain Mike was the best way to see the city and all its beauty. Captain Mike was lovely, polite, kind, committed to providing us a 5-star ride!! We saw everything we wanted and more…..We captured great photos and left the boat saying that was the BEST! He shared trivia about the sights; where Sully landed the plane in the Hudson River, the forts and of course the Queen of the Sea, Lady Liberty!! I would highly recommend this boat ride with Captain Mike, you will throughly enjoy it!!

    New Year's Eve Cruise
    Here are the good points: It was raining like hell on NYE in NYC this year, so this boat was the place to be as far as I'm concerned. It was a little difficult getting to the dock area bc it was so crowded. We paid $500 a person and had the 4 course dinner. The service was great. Erika did an great job. We had a table by a window, and we had a fabulous time. Fun dancing downstairs, open bar, nice fire works. Magical evening.

    All that said....if you are serving filet mignon and lobster tail, then it should be cooked to perfection...especially if I'm paying $500 a person (there were 6 of us). All steaks had to be medium and were not really, and the lobster tail was dry with no drawn butter. That was disappointing but did not ruin my night. I also wish you could have gotten a little closer to the statue of liberty, but whatevs.....

    I want to go back to what a fantastic job Erika did. We loved having her as our server.

    Fun family activity
    This is a review for the rowboat rental and not for the restaurant.

    We had some extra time after enjoying our horse carriage ride so we decided to rent a rowboat. It was a fun and mellow activity for the family. Keep in mind that you cannot switch rowers midway so agree on a rower! You can row under the Bow Bridge and enjoy a view of skyscrapers from the water. The basking turtles are also fun to look at. Make sure you bring $40 cash. $20 will be refunded if you bring the boat back within the hour. One hour is more than enough time.

    The Odette with Captain Paul and Melissa
    Had an AMAZING night sailing with Captain Paul and his Wife Melissa. They were punctual, friendly and so hospitable. The Odette was immaculate, Melissa made sure we had a great time. The Music was great, they made sure we were entertained and took us to all the sights we wanted to see. They positioned the boat so that we had spectacular views and great photo opportunities. They took us to the Statue of Liberty, up the East River, under the Brooklyn Bridge and made sure to point out view points for us to see. Overall we had 5 star service hands down. Grateful to Captain Paul and Melissa for ensuring our evening was special. Can’t thank them enough for all the great memories.

    Fantastic!
    What a fantastic experience! Even with the bad weather on my schedulled date, they were so helpfull and managed to book my trip to the very next day. I have absolutely nothing to complain about it.

    There is no Better and that's the truth! Amazing Experience all around.
    Our family has been renting yachts when we visit our daughter in NYC every year. We typically do this twice each season when we are able. We have used three different companies in past years to book our charters with and by far this was the best experience we have ever had.
    There prompt response, and pricing was not just what has sold us on them, but there ability to go above and beyond was incredible. They even provide us with a Stretch Limo to visit the yacht prior to our booking it. We will only use Freedom Luxury from now on and would strongly recommend them to anyone who is looking to rent a yacht in New York or New Jersey. Thank you for an amazing experience, and we will be sure to see you again in the fall. Thank you the WIlliams Family,

    Beautiful cruise, shady company
    I booked the Jacana boat for a surprise party for my wife and booked it back in January for a July cruise. I worked with Margarita who was super nice and communicative until I paid. Then it was a nightmare to get her on the phone. I would send emails and texts and calls and would go weeks before I would get a return call. She did finally message me back as it got closer to the cruise. I asked if we could adapt the bar since we paid for 40 people and only 30 were coming. She confirmed in email that they would upgrade the bar to a top shelf but they could not do a cash bar since it was already paid. However the day before the cruise, she called and said she could not upgrade the bar. She also mentioned that she had “great news” that they wanted to “upgrade” me to a newer and much smaller boat! She said the only way they would upgrade the bar was if I took this “upgrade” to the smaller boat. I did not want this “upgraded” boat as it was much smaller and was not conducive to the experiences we were planning and the weather was supposed to be bad and the boat I rented was covered and the new one was not. When I informed them that it would not take the “upgrade” they refused to upgrade the bar as they had already promised.

    Once I arrived on the boat to set up, Kelvin was very kind and met me and showed me around. He was very accommodating and kind. He introduced me to the others on the boat who would be helping. The bar tender was very kind yet flirty (I guess he wanted some tips and a possible date as he even hit on my wife (the birthday girl).

    All in all, the cruise itself was great. Incredible views of the city and all of our guests had a great time.

    Things I wish I would have known:
    - They will not accommodate to any dietary restrictions
    - They will NOT follow through on written promises (upgraded bar).
    -you cannot play music while at the dock (30 min before and after as you are leaving the dock and returning to the doc)
    -we arrived back to the dock early and it was expected that we depart the boat early even though we had it rented until 11 and they were pushy to get us off.
    - They provide ZERO directions on how to board the boat or how to communicate to guests where to go to board the boat. There were TONS of people boarding and many boats and every person in my party had to call me and we had to send Kelvin out numerous times to escort people back to the boat. It was very chaotic.

    I would suggest looking for other options but from what I understand, this company owns several of the boats and there are others who “resell” the same boats with mark up. That could have been misleading but that is what I was told during the booking process. It’s all a bit shady but in the end, we had a decent time and a memorable cruise for my wife’s 40th surprise.

    AVOID SAILO AT ALL COSTS
    Bad website full of fake listings and boat owners that don't actually care about chartering their vessel. They charged my credit card almost 15 thousand dollars, and never answer their phone. You have to leave a message on an old answering machine and they will TEXT you back.

    This service is a complete joke, do not trust them with your information AT ALL. I get to spend all day on the phone with Chase now reporting these transactions as fraud so they will release my card.

    This service will destroy your vacation. Do not use them.
