The work done on this Museum is amazing. A terrible tragedy aptly commemorated by the displays and information. I learnt a lot more than I knew before I went in. It's a 'must do' if you're in NYC.
Beware, you'll need at least all day to appreciate it!

Loved the Met first of all is an iconic building which has been tastefully modernised and looks great throughout. Secondly the art and artefacts housed in the Met are fascinating and often beautiful. Many very old attracts such as pots that are thousands of years old. Egyptian, Roman and Greek items are on display with many sculptures and reliefs. With, American and Indian art in display. World class

Grand Central Train Station is one of the most visited destinations in NYC.

It offers sights, history, architecture, dining and shopping.

The most iconic and wellknown sights are: the turquoise and gold celestial ceilung mural and the info booth topped with a four-sided brass clock.

Pay also attention to details: one souvenir to take home in my heart ❤ is the shiny golden brass letter box.

We visited on a w.e. and unfortunatly the Grand Central Oyster Bar was closed ...

I first visited GCT decades ago and was overwhelmed. Each time I return here it's a highlight. Great aura!

Interesting exhibits in the free Polanski Exhibition including Charles Dickens writing desk and chair, The Guttenburg Bible and i was particularly pleased to see Adam Smith's On the a wealth of Nations first edition. The architecture inside and out the library is beautiful. There are other exhibited such as art and an arctic photography exhibition.

I’m not a religious person but I like visiting cathedrals/ old churches as I find the architecture and history quite interesting. There’s almost always a quiet calm about them which offers respite from the craziness of a city!

St Patrick’s is free to enter and has a bag check which is quick and simple.

It’s a beautiful place inside and out and worth a visit.

Absolutely amazing Museum. This museum puts DC's Smithsonian to shame. Such great exhibits and amazingly presented. Not sure if its because there is a fee to enter compared to Smithsonian, but $100 for a whole family is not much and you can easily spend most of the day in here. We were her in the summer and it was not that crazy busy.. first you need to avoid the long lineup at the Central Park door and go to the back where there is never a line.. Also, the parking below is easy and cheap and it saves you tons of time walking around.
Kids loved seeing all the places that were in "Night at the Museum" movies and just an overall great place to spend a day.

MoMA is New York's creative hub. Inside, iconic art and interactive exhibits inspire. It's a vibrant place where everyone can discover something new. Leaving, I felt energized by the experience.

Great place to visit, but Saturday may be the wrong time because it was simply packed with people. Hard to get a spot to eat. So much choice, great atmosphere , well worth a visit. Just pick a better time to go.!

Sat on the Bridge for the first time. Good sound and no one able to stand in front blocking our view. Telemonitors were small so not best view. Always a slow exit with the stairwells

Anyone visiting New York City who is a die-hard fan of "Home Alone" can remember this place. It was my first stop when I was in Manhattan.

This place was amazing. Very moving and really well done. Very respectful. Can't believe I got to hold things that were kept from 9/11. Highly recommend

Always a wonderful place to visit when in New York, for the location and the Medieval art treasures. The coffee place is cute, but their cakes were stale, at least the ones we had.

I am a Genealogist and enjoyed our visit with the Wong and Gumpertz Families. Jared was a great educator and guide. His enthusiasm and knowledge were great. The only negative comment I have is that it would be nice to see 3, possibly 4 units. Otherwise, it was excellent.

This is an amazing collection, three magnificent Vermeer's kick off the visit, intimately displayed in room of their own. You can visit the whole museum in 1-2 hours, so you don't get overfed with art. I actually enjoyed this more than the big ones.

Bit of random fun to fill in some time. We had the New York Pass, and this was included, so we decided to go along to have a look as we had some time to kill before having dinner. It turned out to be quite fun, a few silly games to do, and some quirky historical information. Sufficient to take up an hour or so of your day.
