This place was amazing. Very moving and really well done. Very respectful. Can't believe I got to hold things that were kept from 9/11. Highly recommend

Had not been to the Cloisters in years and wanted to visit again. This museum is of medieval times with a lot of architecture and art from that period. We took the 1 hour tour of highlights and learned a lot. The gardens (there are 3 or 4) are small but beautiful.

We enjoyed a light lunch at the cafe. We also wandered around the Park which is quite nice too.

A very nice outing for an afternoon with friends.

This was a cool place! We did the Family Owned tour, and our guide was very knowledgeable. He was able to answer every question thrown at him. There is a short movie that you can see before or after your show, and they announce when your tour is beginning, so you don't have to worry about missing it while in the movie.

This is an amazing collection, three magnificent Vermeer's kick off the visit, intimately displayed in room of their own. You can visit the whole museum in 1-2 hours, so you don't get overfed with art. I actually enjoyed this more than the big ones.

The contents and the structure of the Morgan Library are incredible. I was very disappointed, though, to plan my visit for a docent tour only to wait 15 minutes past the tour time and then be informed it was cancelled. With 30 to 40 people waiting, someone should have addressed the issue much sooner.

A nice way to see some bridges and skyline of New York. The ride doesn't take very long and you can use your Metro Card. A lot of people there at times though so be prepared for that.

This is an incredible piece of history and so emotional.
The only building in the area to escape with no damage not even a broken window.
Such a focus of sanctuary on that terrible day.
So much to see and absorb , well worth paying for a tour so you don't miss anything.
    Wow !

Historically interesting and visually gorgeous building. The docent was very knowledgeable and helpful. Highly recommend the 1 hour tour.

I was amazed by this region. Instead of vast buildings, there are small, attractive structures. Friends Apartment is also located in this region.

Great way to escape the hustle and bustle of the city. Took the free shuttle bus around the island. Then walked the southern tip to the Roosevelt memorial. Great views all around. Took the tram over to the island and returned back to Manhattan on the F train.

This is a beautiful Cathedral and worth a visit. It has a beautiful altar, stained glass windows and paintings. If you visit, be sure to look near the side entrance at the large statue of Saint Padre Pio sitting and listening to confessions. There is a block on the other side of the “confessional” statue where a person can sit. Unfortunately, it was behind a locked gate, but you can still view it through the gate.

The Upper West Side of Manhattan starts from Columbus Corner and stretches North. Central Park is just across Central Park West from some grand buildings, many of which are apartment blocks.

It's quite an exclusive area to live in but it is a nice area to visit. There are places to get a drink and something to eat including coffee or something a little stronger?

Decades after completion, Woolworth Building is still an encompassing presence in Manhattan. The iconic skyscraper has long been one of the most recognizable buildings in New York. Unfortunately it is not open to public.

The Rubin is sadly closing in October of 2024. If you read this review before then, you should go. If you read it after, you missed out on this space, but check out what they’re doing as a museum without walls. The Rubin is a hyper focused museum and all the better for it. We’ve been to scores upon scores of museums around the world, but never one focused on Himalayan Art specifically. And it’s appreciated since the art of the area is too often tossed in with Indian and Chinese or far worse “Asian Art.” While the focus is on more traditional pieces, there are contemporary and interactive elements as well. We highly recommend a visit.

A hidden gem of a museum. Fascinating look into old New York and the family that lived in this house. The tour guide was very knowledgeable.
