We stayed at Ephyra hotel for the holidays, and Mega Ammos Beach was only a short walk away. We were here several days.

The beach: We prefer to lie directly on the sand/pebble. The part of the beach closest to the Oliva restaurant was by far the best part of the beach. The pebble was smaller, and the water warmer. As you come further away from Oliva and to the end, there are much more large stones, and the water is much colder. We think that this is due to the freshwatersprings. At the end of the beach there is a cute small cave to explore. We rented a SUP-board and payed 20€ for one hour. We also rented sun beds a couple of days for 10€. All can be payed for with card.

Food: We tried all the restaurants at the beach. The were all good, but we would prefer Oliva because of the amazing pasta :)

Very nice beach like a paradise but…..you have to buy water, coffee and take umbrellas and hats with you because it is hard to walk back if you need something to drink! If you are lucky you will find a small boat that is as bar!

This is a true gem of nature near Syvota. There is plenty of shade provided by olive trees, but there is one catch. The water is freezing cold, since there are springs of fresh water under it, and that is not to my liking. Beautiful landscape and sandy beach are nice though. Set of 2 sunbeds and an umbrella is 6 euro, which is kinda expensive. In the end it is a must see place!

Go around the corner of the headland and you will find a shingle beach which is secluded. Lovely water to swim in and a great place to watch the sunset.

A little bit overcrowded with a lot of boats, yachts and even party ships. You should visit it, but I do not recommend to spend the whole day there.

The water was clear but there were a lot of rocks inside. The price of the sunbeds was 10 euro in june, so I can imagine in high season what nappens.

Thank goodness this beach has not gone the way of many in the area of over sophistication. There are a few sunbeds on the beach with more above on a grassy area under the trees. There is a taverna with a lovely area of tables set amongst the olive trees. Sunbeds and umbrella was 3 euro. It is an easy walk from the harbour along the cost and you can view a couple of other beaches as you go.

Amazing handmade art. It is worth just a walk to see wonderful creations by Greek artists but also the beautiful, unique, pomme - pidou animals. Freddy the frog is looking forward to meeting you at his friends
