- Tatjana MLjubljana, Slovenia344 contributionsOne of the better beaches, never to visit during the holidays because there are too many people, it is possible to improve the food supply a little, great for the disabled and suitable for young children.Written 9 October 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - _gaynoratkinsonStockton-on-Tees, UK39 contributionsA view to climb for, not easily accessed, craggy, rocky, at times a little scary, but wow what a view and the clearest aqua pool to dive in if you are really good! If not climb in , deep crystal warm water and a site to behold.Written 28 August 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Yuri GNew York City, New York46 contributionsWe visited museum and were amazed how well it is organized and maintained. I visited many archaeological museums in the world bit this one stands out. It is both modern and connect you to ancients. Many museums are quite boring but not this one. The design and artistry of presentations and exhibitions are superb!Written 22 August 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - chocdikrabFrankfurt, Germany3,452 contributionsspiaggia di portixeddu, located on the islands sant´antioco estcoast a little bit in the north of maladroxia is a beautiful white stoney beach with crytalclear water, which shines in every shade of blue. we came there during the week in the afternoon and only a few peolple were arround. so we had a good possibility to let dangle our souls and time for reading a book. for the whole afternoon the mood was relaxed and quiet. there are no natural shadow zones and it is neccessary to have parasol and sunprotection same as food and drinks in the beach luggage, because there is no beachbar for buy something. also a toilette we didn´t found.
the spiaggia delle vasche slopes gently into the sea and its a nice place for families with small children. for a walk on the beach it is neccessary to wear watershoes, but the basis of the sea is sandy and makes the access to the water easy.
we can recomment spiaggia delle vasche very much. a perfect place to spend a lazy sunny afternoon in tranquillity.Written 13 July 2014This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Burial chambers were used between the 2nd and 7th centuries. Very interesting, accessible on a guided visit.Written 25 April 2021This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- Neive Travers8 contributionsMy favourite part was meeting our guide Emanuele he made the experience very special and memorable. I wasn’t going to go until I heard a gentleman explaining to some tourists in English about the history of the archaeological sites. Instantly I wanted to know more so the next day I made my trip to the necropoli to book my ticket. Thankfully it was the same man I heard the previous day he introduced himself as Emanuele. This man should be the image on the brochure as he took me back in time to how the Sardinian people lived. I most certainly would recommend this archaeological tour the highlight of my trip.Written 28 April 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - wendybriceLlangrannog, UK24 contributionsWe saw Semaphoro on a distant hill and having failed to find a road to it, we parked near Capo Sperone and walked up a rough track to the top where we found our goal. It was in a bad state of repair and we had to scramble over debris to get in. We sat by the metal signal pole inside and ate croissants and drank orange juice. The views were superb and we loved the old building. It was well worth the climb and a fabulous place to have breakfast. Maybe not ideal for young children or people with disabilities but great fun if you can climb in without falling down the hole in the entrance!Written 25 September 2013This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Critter_00Plymouth, UK33 contributionsA large beach with soft sand, there is lots of parking which is free before the 1st June and inexpensive afterwards. Toilets are available when the beach café is open, bring your own paper though.Written 4 June 2017This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC.
