What travellers are saying
- JeaSimi Valley, CA5 contributionsGreat place for kids. They have a little house play area, an I spy where you try to find things (they change it regularly). They have a wide selection of books for all ages. They have DVDs if you want to check them out. They also have DVDs for audibles for some books. If you want your passport to be renewed or get one, they have cheaper prices. They also have an aquarium. We watched them feed the fish today. In summary, it was WONDERFUlWritten 5 February 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- SydneySaint Louis, MO200 contributionsBeautiful mountain range. We visited the Visitor Center in Calabasas, walked around for a bit, and then drove to Malibu. Nice area, but no need to stay very long.Written 7 March 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- Jenny C4 contributionsTGOTW is a beautiful-peaceful pocket of all things gardening right in the middle of Thousand Oaks. Unexpected, to say the least, as it’s surrounded by commerce & pedestrians, it becomes a much needed moment of meditative strolling among roses and arches, koi fish and the most surprising gift of all-a fantastic-blue enamel tiled roof-japanese tea house. Believe me, you are not ready for this. Then, you realize how wisely you’ve used 2 hrs of your day & remember it forever. No photography is allowed, but this works perfectly toward the ambiance of the garden & the experience. No TikTokers, IGramers or SSMM interrupting the esence of this little slice of paradise.
Don’t miss this jewel.Written 13 April 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. There are several different trails from easy to challenging. The waterfall is what everyone seems to want to see. It's a nice, moderate hike but, again, go on a weekday.Written 3 February 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Maureen M8 contributionsWe stumbled upon this botanical garden and we were delighted to have found it. Entrance to the gardens is free, but donations are requested. There are different garden areas representing different climates. For example, desert, meadows, native, etc. The walking paths were clearly marked and easy to follow. The view from the highest point was beautiful.Written 12 July 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- parkwifeThousand Oaks, CA301 contributionsThis waterfall is very popular. It runs all year because it is fed by street runoff. Still pretty but over loved, especailly on the weekend. Parking can be tight and the trail busy especailly around the falls.Written 3 February 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Seekinggreatmeals11 contributionsThe Chumash Indian Museum has something for all ages. Great artifacts and insight into how the Chumash Indians lived in harmony with nature in the Conejo Valley. Hunting, fishing and farming tools were interesting and the museum was not crowded even though we visited on Thanksgiving weekend.Written 29 July 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Nancy EdwardsJacksonville, FL70 contributionsKnowing that it is a small theater with an amateur cast, we weren't expecting to like "The Gondoliers" so much. We had positive experiences with Gilbert and Sullivan before so knew what to expect. There was a good small orchestra and the acting an singing were also good. All in all, a very enjoyable evening. Getting there was an adventure -- up a dark hill in a park and from the parking lot only the roof visible. But worth it.Written 23 March 2017This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- Kasi_MarkThousand Oaks49 contributionsI have been a Theatre League season ticket holder for more than 10 years. The shows are varied and fantastic. The Kavli theater has great seats, but try not to sit right in the middle as there is no center aisle.Written 6 May 2013This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Gene PThousand Oaks101 contributionsWe love this place. Saw Broadway Bound a couple of weeks ago. Excellent cast, really. Excellent scenery.. We went on a Thursday night and were shocked the place wasn't packed. The person next to us told us that most people go on Friday and Saturday. Wake up, Thousand Oaks, you're missing a group that deserves more. Plus you'll spend less than the cost of a movie and a giant bag of popcorn.Written 10 February 2018This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Craig-World-TravelleAgoura Hills, CA1,836 contributionsWe had a flight of beers and enjoyed them. Quite a varied selection on tap. The make all the beers they serve but not on site here.
It appears they do not serve food.
It was quite on a Wednesday evening.
I will go back and try some other types next time I'm in the area.Written 9 May 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. I didn't find anything special or eye-catching.
Both my wife and I have been to numerous museums, US and overseas, and to us, this is just so-soWritten 3 December 2018This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. He taught us how to throw the axes, took our orders, broke the ice and made sure we all got comfortable. He was so great- made our reservation that much better. Thanks Matt! Cant wait to be back!Written 10 September 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
