The tour guide Jake and driver Rob were great, there was never a dull moment despite being 8 hours long could not get enough of the dad jokes. The singers were excellent and the fire juggler had us on edge!
However, the food left much to be desired. We were so looking forward to the pig roast. What a disappointment! It was dry, cubed tough roast pork, not the traditional tender and juicy Hawaiian pig roast we had expected. They brought out one small pig to serve over 100 people and I think it must have all been gone before we got to the line, so this substandard product was substituted. The roast beef was tough as well. Arlaine was a fabulous tour guide who was humorous and high energy. She made sure that we knew all about the sites we were visiting, and she was highly accommodating to our needs. Aside from this fact, the sites were awesome to see. We were able to visit the USS Arizona and USS Missouri. Although I wish spent more time at each site, we were able to follow guided tours and still have time to explore on our own. The performances were great, but from where I was sitting in the middle, sometimes difficult to see. - Brian WPortland, OR5 contributionsTook this trip with my kiddos (11, 16, and 20), and we all had a great time. The bus ride out to the harbor took about an hour and went smoothly. We had great weather and calm seas once we got on the boat. The entire crew was fantastic. We cruised along the west side of the island for about an hour and found a huge pod of spinner dolphins. They came right up to the boat and it was so cool to watch them put on a show for us. After heading to our snorkel spot we spent about an hour there and saw a turtle and quite a few different fish. The slide was pretty epic too.
Special callout to Sway our host on the bus and photographer. He made us feel welcome from the start, and was working his tail off getting us some great shots on the trip. I def recommend getting the photo package. It lets you just focus on having fun and you get professional shots to capture your memories.
