With social distancing still being practised, it’s now a walking tour. Although it’s all done in Thai, we still enjoyed it a great deal.

The highlight was making our own ice cream. The kids loved it and the ice cream tasted great!

We went for the burger place on site after the tour and everyone enjoyed the lunch.

A great stop for families with young kids.

What an interesting day! Our host was knowledgeable, friendly and loved to laugh with us.
We learnt a lot about how difficult it is to produce wine in Thailand! The tastings were very generous and we loved walking the grounds to see the diverse foliage.

We had a fun time visiting the place as it has other things to see aside from waiting for the tour. The place is also very well maintained. Downside is we were not able to see grapes in full bloom as it was not yet harvest season.

There are a few amazing pieces showing the artists' skills and talents. A totally different attraction from the others in Khao Yai.

Zoo is run down and empty, but because its empty near closing time, we had a good time watching the lion cub run around the ticketing and souvenirs shop, then get sent back to his/her parents on a buggy. The lions were fed 2 whole chicken from the supermarket each. We went around feeding the little animals too. It's great to have nearly no other visitors around but you can see that the animals' living condition is merely passable.

A great part of our visit to this lovely park was Haew Suwat Waterfall, famous for appearing in the film The Beach (deCaprio). We went in the rainy season so the flow was impressive, not sure what it would be like in the dry season.
You can see it from the top from a good viewing point but to look up at the falls from the bottom requires 120+ steep steps down and then back up. But it was worth it.
    Recommend viewing.

Chill out one of the most famous Italian style towns in Thailand. Nice photo background and many shops for shopping. Not too crowded and no entrance fee. Just 20 baht for car parking.

Thep Phithak Temple (White Buddha) is wonderful and peaceful. I hiked up to the top to see the White Buddha) in 20 minutes. The mountain views were beautiful. The temple was well maintained and clean. There were peacocks in temple. Recommended.

Nice place to stroll along the street food stalls after a day of sightseeing. The mango sticky rice is cheap and fresh.

You wouldn't think a visit to a corn farm would generate much excitement, but don't tell that to the hordes of people who flock here, for good reason. They have a large shop selling everything imaginable related to corn. Most popular is the corn milk and fresh sweet corn, which people buy in huge quantities. It's probably the best sweet corn you can buy that's actually grown in Thailand.

This was a wonderful experience with a variety of wines for different pallets - basic to bigger bolder tasters. Organic farm with animals such as turkeys geese and sheep
A great place for events too - nice water feature and bridge
Tasting fee of 100B, but refunded with purchase. I thought I was in California tasting

This review covers not the mushroom farm itself but the establishment's Wawee LingZ coffee shop. This is beside the main road and is fine with decent quality coffee and a few healthy snacks. It is a good stopping off point on the way to the Kao Yai national park. The farm itself was closed, possibly because of COVID19.

I love visiting wats whenever I travel in Thailand. being a Buddhist myself, I find solace and peace in any of the wat's prayer hall. This wat is no exception. Simple, yet beautiful. The climb to the top of the hill where sits a golden stone with a golden chedi was awesome. The top was peaceful as we (me and my son) were the only people there at the time. The view of the wat's compound and wat buildings was equally beautiful
There are holy bells places along the mostly metal stairs to the top of the hill . The ring of the bell can represent the heavenly enlightened voice of the Buddha teaching dharma. Ringing one can be used as a call for protection and as a way to ward off evil spirits ..

Turn off at the green gas station on Hwy 2 just before Chokai farm. Go about 2 km down the road and then you see a sign for magic Cave. Near Marino and Dusit Thani resorts. Large parking lot. You need a guide to take you thru the cave- 100 b. You go down the stairs thru a locked gate and then take a circuitous path thru the cave. The path is paved the whole way. At one point you need to crawl through a small opening but other than that the walk is relatively easy. There is a skeleton of a man said to be 4000 years old. Lots of interesting stalactite formations. The walk they the cave takes about 30 min. Guides don’t speak English.
