The tour was a good opportunity to see this far flung national park, if you are like me and do not want to attempt driving in Thailand (I am not familiar with their road suggestions/etiquette and my spatial awareness is not advanced enough to tetris a car through traffic). Our guide was very enthusiastic and affable. This is a good tour for ablebodied people who like to hike and attempt nature watching.

First things to note is that this is a national park, not a game reserve with trackers or a zoo. Animals are wild so there is no guarantee you will see them. Unfortunately we were not luck to see elephants when we went, they showed themselves 30 mins after we left, as our guide's friend confirmed.

The trails are not accessible by any means. They are marked but not paved and there are sections of steep stair or tree roots/rocks to discend. We went during a particularly dry warm season but it is a tropical forest so it is an all weather activity. Prepare accordingly. Only 2 of 6 brought an umbrella which helped with not getting completely soaked. Guide was used to the rain but as he said, you will have to be 200% careful. In some sections 500% careful or you could fall (sometimes into elephant poop). All of us slipped at least once but only 1 badly. If you have camera gear, have a waterproof bag.

Recommend long sturdy pants unless you are ok with some scratches from thorned plants and some potential ant bites. Pants count: 2 cotton pants split at seams, 1 shorts a bit muddy from sitting to navigate downwards, 1 yoga mants with tear in the leg from spiky plant.

Spotted : monkeys, deer, scorpion, monitor and lots of butterflies.

The tour overall was nice, I liked the Khao Yao and the driver was friendly. However, the tour guide didn’t provide too much interesting information. She took some photos too, and she just wanted to send them afterwards in exchange for a 5star rewiew! That behavior itself is very questionable. I felt so pressured, the „example review“ she send me and that I „could use as an example“ was a pure hymn of praise and was not how I experienced her as a guide. She got very snappish when I said I will do that after my holidays and didn’t send me the photos of me(!!) first. I believe reviews are a feedback and a possibility to improvement. I rely on reviews when I book future tours and I want them to be reliable. She was clearly not interested in getting feedback as a guide, („just good for her career“) and even accused me of treating her badly, which was absolutely not true! Telling me when, what and how many stars I should give is highly unprofessional and adds an unpleasant note to the tour.

The pick process was horrible. The driver was waiting outside without notice that he had arrived. He should have had a sign up with my name on the lobby as the trip started about 30 minutes late. Afterwards everything was amazing. We requested not to go to the

chocolate factory because of severe allergies we visited many other places such as a mushroom farm, sunflower farm and the PB valley vineyard. We didn't follow the set itinerary from TripAdvisor which was great and went to places we wanted to. In the end the driver was a nice guy, just needs more practice in pick ups.

We did a two day tour with Mr. Nong in the National Park Khao Yai. He picked us up at our hotel in Pak Chong which was great because the national park is fairly far away from Pak Chong and best discovered with a car/pick-up.
We walked with rangers through the jungle and were looking for wild animals. Among other things, we saw Gibbons, Hornbills, other birds, water lizard, etc. The tour was great and he encouraged us to ask questions, explained a lot, and made plenty of cool pictures from us and the animals with his iPhone and a more professional camera. Aside from the jungle tour, we got lucky on both days and saw many elephants roaming the meadows. Each day we ate at the park for lunch and went to a Thai restaurant for dinner.
We can definetly recommend a tour with him. He was helpful and flexible to our needs and wishes.

Mr. Tee was my tour guide and he was awesome! As a solo traveler, I really appreciated how considerate, professional, knowledgeable, and kind he was. He took hundreds of great photos for me from all the amazing sites. When we couldn’t find monkeys on the main monkey trail, he went out of his way to be flexible and took me to three other locations before we finally saw some monkeys! He made sure I was happy and having fun along the way and at every location. He was also very knowledgeable about Thai history, the terrain, flora and fauna, etc. The driver was also amazing. They had ice cold water ready for me after every little hike, a beautiful and traditional Thai lunch prepared halfway through the day, and even cold hand/head towelettes for me to cool down after each hike in the Thai heat! I hope to book a tour again with this company, and definitely would recommend Mr. Tee! The hikes were all very accessible for a wide range of travelers. Built in hiking paths to the waterfalls which was great. I went during the dry season, during wet season the waterfalls are even more powerful and flow more water

Honestly I don't usually write reviews but this tour was worth writing about. I found this tour through get your guide which was linked with Quality Thai Guide. Our guide was Peter and he was very helpful and informative, we had a great time getting to know important parts of Bangkok in just a day. Also, Peter was like our professional photographer and really took the time and effort to take amazing pictures at spectacular places. He also knew good places to eat, shortcuts and made sure the journey wasn't tiresome.Would definitely recommend this guided tour if you are visiting Bangkok.

I traveled to Bangkok with my 70 year old mother. I wanted to plan some exciting tours to surrounding areas of interest for day trips, one was Ayutthaya. I chose this tour among the many private guided tours because of the boat addition and I was so glad i did. The private guide, Nick was so wonderful and patient. He and the driver who's name i cant recall were knowledgeable, patient, polite and prompt. I cant say enough about them. We felt that our needs were top priority and with my mom being a bit older he was able to adjust pace as needed. It was also a very hot day as it often is and the well equipped van was an excellent and comfortable vehicle for the long drive complete with plenty of cold waters. I felt safe the entire time. The boat trip around the island was lovely and we got to feed goldfish and visit real local markets and try local snacks which Nick helped us buy and we shared. We also had lunch at a great small place on the water. Normally they serve on the boat but my mom was having trouble walking so we ate in the restaurant itself which was still open air and it was great. They were so accommodating. I would highly recommend this company and particular tour.

The 3 hour journey from Bangkok to Khao Yai was broken up with fantastic stories about Thailand and it’s animal life. The waterfall was in full flight and the views from the lookouts spectacular. The highlight being the 4.2km guided walk through the forest. The guide pointing out many things and providing information on each of them, including plants, insects, animals and birds. We had Peter as a guide and had a great day.
