What travellers are saying
- WassermaennchenGermany43 contributionsThis sculpture park is something totally unexpected in the Chianti but definitely something great to have.
The whole concept, the arrangement, the presentation, the location, the environment - everything is amazing and a must-visit.
When you approach the venue coming from south-east (from the village of Pianella), then you can see even more sculptures at the road-side.
Since it is a very small road, drive slowly and carefully and enjoy not only the beautiful landscape but also the sculptures that are placed along the road. Wonderful!
At the entrance we met the owner and he started a conversation with us, explaining the story behind this sculpture park and how it developed (from a wild boar farm to this beautiful place). That was quite interesting.
They have an app that you can download from the typical app-stores for free.
It provides you very detailed explanations to each of the sculptures inside the park.
Recommendation: the mobile internet connection is extremely bad and slow at that remote location. If you plan to visit the park, download their app before you go or whenever you have a fast and stable connection.
The whole park is inside an oak tree forest so you are well protected from the sun - no problem to visit the park even if it is sunny and hot.
It is a very nice walk through the forest. Take the time, listen to the explanations of the app and enjoy the surrounding nature to which the sculptures are meant to have a connection.
I wish there were more places like this to explore.
We found it just accidentally when searching Google maps for a nice road through the Chianti.
So it was a big and very enjoyable surprise to us on that day.Written 26 July 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. The wines were beyond delicious and the picnic overlooking a few of their vineyards was the perfect way to end the day. Thanks for such a fantastic visit Enrique and Marco!Written 9 May 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.

- Jelmer4 contributionsHad the greatest wine tour with my wife. Chiara did an amazing job showing us around. Afterwards we got several wines to taste (Chianti Classico and Riserva), with some great bread and olive oil on the side. This is a great place to visit, I would for sure recommend it.Written 28 March 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Louise VAalborg, Denmark82 contributionsVisiting this amazing wine producer was not a bad idea. We prebooked - for a Sunday at 10 am, and our host and guide showed up ready and eager to give us a memorable tour and tasting. The estate is beatifully well kept and a grand vue. The visit to the cellar was very interesting and the following tasting topped off the fantastic experience. The entire etate and grounds are very impressive and beatiful - absolutely worth a visit - with or without winetasting.Written 26 July 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Scarcy5 contributionsThe location Is wonderful, between the lovely Tuscan hills in the countryside, surrounded by the vineyards. The staff Is very friendly and caring. Andrea is a fantastic host! Perfect for days out of the hustle and bustle of the city, with friends or family. Strategic position to visit the sorrounding villages and cities. Very much appreciated the lovely wine tasting with their own wine. Really worth it, and we will definitely come back.Written 26 July 2020This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.

- Brent HPordenone, Italy452 contributionsMy wife and I decided to stop here in a whim on the way back from another winery. There are very few signs and we weren't sure where to park, or if they were even open. While sitting in the car trying to figure out what to do a man came to the car and said he could provide is a tasting. Apparently he was the owner (we were dumb and didn't catch his name), he said his sister spoke English, but was on another tour. He spoke no English and my wife and I speak very very little Italian. We proceeded anyway. We spent the next 45 minutes learning about the wines and winery (as best that we could all convey and understand). The wines were incredible. We also tried the Chianti Grappa. This is literally the first time in my life I have had any grappa and not wanted to spray my mouth with a fire extinguisher. This was so much fun. I can't wait to go back here, even if we never get a tour in English.Written 24 May 2021This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - vinwin2015Bratislava, Slovakia23 contributionsDonatella's and Sadio's horse riding Agriturismo was a very pleasant surprise. It's located in the beautiful Toscan hillside, close to an ancient medieval castle and surrounded by creeks and forests. Both of the owners are patient riding coaches, pleasant and helpful. We were lucky to have the whole place to ourselves, and really enjoyed all the benefits. For breakfast, we were greeted by a mix of hens and cats while the two dogs (Cicco and Lolla) accompanied us throughout the day - Cicco even tagged along for the riding adventure to the castle. Our daughter absolutely loved the riding lessons and will surely try to manipulate us into coming back!Written 17 August 2020This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Alfio CReinach, Switzerland26 contributionsI'm really impressed of this nice historical city! Have must seen is Piazza rotunda where the "Palio" is taking place. A horse race! But the most beauti the city gives you are the small antik streets a small stores you feel like being pushed back to 15th century!
