The museum is seperated in two historical exhibitions.

The aircraft museum houses some (replica) aircrafts, a lot of aircrafts models, displays of the WWII airfield and marine flying camp of Texel, recovered plane wreckage and information on local stationed airforce personal who lost their lives during WWII. During our visit also an exposition of 100 years KLM was shown.

The war museum outlines the German occupation of Texel and the Georgian uprising which took place in the last months of the war. While the Netherlands was liberated on the 5th of Mai, the war continued until 20 Mai on Texel, and ended when the Canadia soldiers arrived on the Island.

Part of the war museum shows detailed scale models of the type of German bunkers which were build during the war as part of the Atlantic Wall.

The museum is very informative and detailed on the local history both on the aviation- and WWII history.

    Wonderful experience!
We learned a lot about alpacas, we felt that they were very well treated and respected. Very fair price. Fun for everyone.

A nice and clean swimming pool with fun water slides. The smallest of children can enjoy water toys and fountains, while the bigger kids choose the water slides.
The wildwater river however can be a bit tricky, especially when it's a bit crowded. The current in the whirlpools sometimes won't allow you to proceed to the next part. Don't let your kids go in unattended, even if they can swim!

Very ambitious project! New holes and renovated holes will be good when the course matures. The artifiscial dunes do remind me of St Andrews Castle course where a links course was created on farmland!
Give this course 3 years and it will be amongst the best in Netherlands

This was my first time doing skydiving.
The procedure was smooth and before we (jumpers) received enough information what/when/how to do.
The staff were all super kind and helpful.
The experience is unforgettable especially because of the wonderful view what we saw during the free-fall and parachuting.
I really recommend for extreme sport lovers!!

I love animals, but I love to see them where they actually are in their natural habitats, and we had a lovely time watching the seals near Texel without disturbing them, well it was a wonderful sunny day and the sea was calm too, highly recommended
